Oléma et Gabriel, early favorites! I was hypnotized and mesmerized by both performances -- their interpretations of each song being so different from their original counterparts shows they are true artists with a fresh point of view, excited to see more!
I love to see how different panels value different qualities. France *loves* a unique tone even if there were a few flat notes, Germany always gives metal and rock a chance when in some places it’s not given a space.

No disrespect to all the other great performances, but my vote is for Lance Priester. I believe he didn't choose that particular song because it would do well with the jury, but because it defines him. The deep-felt emotion jumps off the screen: this is not about singing a song perfectly, or showing one's vocal prowess. This is about him baring his soul. Much respect!

Ils sont tous géniaux, de part le timbre, l'interprétation et la véracité, j'en ai choisi 3 qui m'ont fait prêter attention : Stold, Oléma et Morpho. Ce dernier a fait une figure captivante par son chant, et est mon préféré dans cette sélection.

Other than the very last gentleman? I'm utterly & completely unimpressed. Sorry, I do truth. I heard to many bad notes, from so many? I actually thought this might be an April Fool's joke. Wow.
The Voice it is also about emotions.
Not hitting notes is exactly what a good singer does. If you want to hear what a perfect voice sounds like listen to some videos that explain auto tune. And yes the voice uses tools as well to upgrade the singers but depending on season they sometimes use less or more, make it relatively the same for everyone or making it perfect for every single performer. The quality of the singers is the same as always trust me. And personally yes none were really perfect but I enjoy the imperfection of life singing etc.

This was BAD, off-key singing. Sure, a couple things might have been a BIT of nerves?
But this was described as FOUR CHAIR TURN performances.
They were nothing of the sort.
It’s all a kind of the same … good but not outstanding
