In my opinion the Americans are just awful. Far too fast and quick to criticise those who don’t understand the scattergun orders that are barked out. The Brits are far better as are folk like Amsterdam and Germany too who are much clearer and do not therefore risk the possibility of a misunderstanding with catastrophic results.
No its not. Just tuning into an ATC Frequency in the UK Is illegal, let alone actually listening to it, let alone recording it and let alone publishing it. Nothing about this video is legal.
@@AnIdiotAboard_ yes. It’s legal to own a scanner, buy or seek one but not to use it. Unfortunately, the law that prohibits lisenting to ATC is not only outdated, but the points that they made for it at the time are irrelevant now. That being said, nobody, for almost 80 years, has been prosecuted for breaching that, even though it happens all the time. I have heard stories of people using a scanner right next to an airport and the police come up to them and are aviation enthusiasts and don’t really care. Also, the way the law was presented means that if you have a pilots license, you can listen without fear of prosecution.
@i_wanna_be_a_pilot mate I was prosecuted and fined for publishing Heathrow crash at back in the day. Scanners legal, everything else in this video not so
@@AnIdiotAboard_ yes mate I meant you will very likely not get in trouble if you aren’t broadcasting that you are doing it. If you are making local headlines, then yes, you probably will be prosecuted. Even people who go and listen right outside an airport probably will be, if they get caught, but the people at home, they will never. So if you want to listen to it at home (I’m not saying you should, and will not get prosecuted, just it’s unlikely that you will be)

We invented it
When you hear some of the controllers in New York you'd be mistaken for thinking it was a radio presenter hosting a phone in.
Usually, listen to this during intense focus sessions at work or on a flight whilst I nap. Any chance to get more of these from LHR?
