WOW. I love this. I can imagine my chorus singing this. When... I have one... For myself, I 'd keep many of the minor v chords you have in here. However, there are some really impactful moments that are muted without the Dominant V7 chord - particularly the climax of the song. That's again my own tastes.
If anyone out there EVER doubted the sheer polished virtuosity of these four voices who sing as one, you need listen no farther than this. Even the key change at ~5.00 is preserved. Poster Nathan Johnston captured the essence of Crossroads with adept editing, ending with the performance in which the quartet declined to wear their gold medals, and typically responded to the prolonged standing ovation without grandstanding--just profound humility and a few tears. We are all blessed with their presence and work. I hope they continue to inspire me and anyone fortunate enough to listen for many, many years to come.
I just came from listening to the original from them, and then stumbled upon this... Im high... I can't handle how much of a trip this is.
hope you had tissues nearby
Me fucking too tbh.
I also would have kept the dominant 7ths. Harmonic minor > Natural minor imo, but this is still hauntingly beautiful.

I would pay for this sheet music!!
Absolutely entrancing. A spectacle, a marvel, an entirely flawless masterpiece.
You need to do more of this!
I love this, it's so poignant in minor. Any chance of getting the sheet music? I'd love to try singing this with my quartet.
I must found this...and now I'm addicted...
This is perfect
Lol why the flat 2 at the end? great work on the whole thing, i would love to hear something like blue skies in minor.
Also that makes the key change sound insanely cool
This is epic! Do you have others?
You know what would be cool? If the last chord went back to major
Didn't even use harmonic minor on the v7's ... #ded
Never!
Bro do Go The Distance
Currently working on a major headless horseman. It’s a long process!
I want to hear the unaltered version
