CONGRATS! YOU ARE AWARDED THE DPA FIRST MEDAL~!!!
wan sui ! ! !
I couldn't remember it either, the Soviet 1942 Winter counterattack. General Georgy Zhukov's Operation Uranus. Well, it's been over 45 years since I did a research paper on Zhukov. (Darn this getting old crap, memory isn't what it used to be. Have a great day. Thanks for the Sitrep.
Hi! Whoever is reading this, have a wonderful day!
U 2 kind Sir!
why thanks ,going to be a hot weekend , lets get the beers out !
Nice profile pic,,,🙄
Zelenszkyyy just read this bro. What have you done?
Make me >:(
DPA, you are doing good. Peace is always better than war. It's beyond us now!
Good morning, Kyiv. I love the smell of censorship in the early hours.
The Comedian must be winning still!
He wins in our hearts
So it begins.
Russia 🇷🇺 is steamrolling thru Ukraine.
Wow Africa is watching let go DPA ❤🇿🇲
God Bless you and God Bless Zambia
Nowadays you can't concentrate troops for a big offensive without suffering high casualties. Russia has probably buffered troops in the rear, and will move very small tactical groups to minimize exposure and casualty. Ru has capability, range and capacity advantage, so they can use that to carefully chip away at the enemy.
Bor-ing. It's tough to get any satisfaction in this chipping away war.
@Necromass-pi2ih Well. Now you know. Welcome to my worlddddd... won't you come on innnnnn??
Thank God we have the SITREPs !!!
"Find out" phase started

Thanks for reminding me about the Leopards! ;)
Russia winning and all smiles. Liking and subscribing!
Your reports are much appreciated indeed!
Stalingrad counteroffensive was operation uranus.Bagration was the byelorussian offensive later.
3:19 I think the reason why Russia is opening a front is to divert Ukraine some troops to Kharkiv instead of going to Chasov Yar.
Great update Captn.
Operation Uranus was the code name of the Soviet Red Army's 19-23 November 1942 strategic operation on the Eastern Front of World War II which led to the encirclement of Axis forces in the vicinity of Stalingrad. To exploit this victory, the Soviet general staff planned an ambitious offensive with Rostov-on-Don as the ultimate objective, code named "Saturn". Later, Joseph Stalin reduced his ambitious plans to a relatively smaller operation code named "Little Saturn".
Shit is about to go down
First!!
USSR's counter attack during battle of Stalingrad was called operation Uranus. But imo this style of offensive from Russia is more similar to the USSR's counters after Kursk, albeit on a waaay smaller scale
Uranus was the operation for liberating Stalingrad itself.
I think her is talking about the broad front counter offensive ussr launched right after Stalingrad /Op Uranus was achieved.
maybe time to rename leopard 1 to kitty 1?lol..
😂😂
Dpa should used kitty 1-because hatter will come to comment 😅
Kitty 1,kitty 2, kitty 3 for leopard 3 lol😅😅
It's possible that Russia is simply trying to create a buffer zone near Belgorod.
Yes, it is most lightly the reason
It's not only possible. It is what they said they would do.
@@urbansenicar81 good point
dont worry about being outdated
better a few hours late than wrong

Turtle Tank rules!
Stalingrad Soviet counteroffensive was operation Uranus. Barbarossa was German invasion into the USSR.
Those were two of the most massive attacks in all of military history. Barbarosa was an attack along a front 2000 miles long with approximately two million troops. Uranus used as many troops but over a much smaller front so the concentration was unreal.
An offensive on Kharkiv is the most logistically sounding idea; look how near it is from Moscow. The problem for Russia in the Kharkov area on the first year of war was UA's artillery firing from within the city; maybe that issue is going to be solved. RU was accumulating, equipping and training troops undercover since two years until now.
💙💙💙
Leopard 1 went the way of Dodo
Looks like Ukraines photo op has come back to bite them in the ass, who would have thought?
Belgorod buffer zone starting or just a warning? Time will tell.
Bagradion it was the Bagradion offensive.
hi ,
Northern front at this stage
Is the coup de grace
Wow , forth?
When we get to day 15895 I'm out, I just want you to know that commander. 😊🎉🎉
43 years war? I probably also out by then... probably died. LOL
Rip hohols
Curiouser and Curiouser. Maybe General Armageddon light™️ is back? I honestly can't tell if the Russian MoD is incompetent, or crazy like a WEF fox and Idc.
talking about the new york front ... like to see the philedelphila and chicago front and florida and california los angeles and sanfransisco front
Paris front as well. I wanna know how pocket Napoleon is doing.
@@kindlingking pocket napoleon was impaled and left on the top of the eiffeltower to die
Nah ,, its just Poking on its Tip only you know,, Testing how she would react
And that is correct my good sir~
But how many soldiers are in Kharkiv the ex happy front?
No idea. I know MS claims its 200k.
First one
Soviet offensive was called Bagration. German offensive was called Barbarossa (The Red Beard was a Nordic pirate who served as a head of the Ottoman fleet).
uranus was staligrad counteroffensive, bagration was byelorussian offensive later.
By the way, I wonder if operations still have names like Barbarossa, Citadel, Saturn, Bagration from WW2. I have never heard any operation name in this war. Are they all classified?
Leopard 1s are basically museum pieces that have been thrashed beyond repair for 40 years then returned to Germany as trade-ins on newer armor.
They will be too unreliable to be used in this conflict.
Same is probably true of the 3500 Abrams in storage.
Chasiv Yar is not significant strategic important😂
Opening a new front is a great idea for Russia. The Donbass has a ton of fortifications, and there is no real way to break the stalemate there right now, however there is a tactic that general MacArthur used in the Korean war. When the south Korean forces were at a stalemate in Pusan, the Americans decided to navally invade behind the North Korean lines, which sent the North Korean army into chaos, forcing them to retreat to avoid encirclement. It was a complete military catastrophe for North Korea. If Russia pulls off such a move by opening a new front, it would allow them to conquer the Donbass, if not more than that.
What stalemate?
There is NO stalemate you f%#cking idiot !!
It's a little simpler than that.
A key political issue last year was the removal of Prighozin who constantly criticized the "old fashioned" methods of Soviet warfare.
What we are seeing now is classic Warsaw Pact tactics, Russia is steadily increasing it's manpower, ammunition and armor production.
As more and more combat corps come on line they allocate them to new areas, increasing the contact line to further extend and accelerate the destruction of the AFU.
The border should be rather marked Russia/Nato... as it's not Ukraine anymore (since 2014)
50k isn't nearly enough for any meaningful gains in Kharkiv if this swells to something more than diversion
The Russians are good educators. At Avdiivka they instructed the Ukrainians and the west how to conduct an offensive. And now they correct, Krynky is not a good diversionary attack, let us show you what a diversionary attack looks like and they give us Kharkiv. I'm afraid Ukraine and the west are paying dearly for these lessens.
6th😭
I'm expecting the Russians to launch a smaller scale Operation Bagration, but I'd be surprised if it's this early in the year.
Nah, Bagration 1944 offensive was against completely degraded German forces. This one is similar to Kursk counteroffensive.
@@usun_politics1033 Point.
Its Harkeev or Harkov 😊
In Ukrainian it is Harkiv, in Russian it is Harkov
Харьков
i only hear a out UK artillery being destroyed. Why never hear RU artillery destroyed?
Well, I think, it is hardly possible, that the russian actions at Kharkiv are nothing but a diversion, even though diversion might be an important concideration. If they attack there and don´t capture and keep anything, that would be seen as a big failure and be very bad for the moral, no matter what. Putin said, that they would create a buffer zone there after the last ukr. attacks and the very least thing they can do, is to straighten the border and call it a buffer. Also: Being able to use Belgorod as a logistic hub is an advantage for the Russians, which they might want to keep using. Even if there is no current attempt to capture Kharkiv city, it would be advantageous to push towards Kupiansk from that direction and not only eventually take that city but also establish a new supply route between Belgorod and that front - which is a logistically weak spot for the Russians now.
Regarding Chasiv Yar: I do not think either, that Russia wants to push through to Kostjiantinivka there any time soon. However, to take the town would give them different advantages: Firstly, that would give them suitable artillery positions to target military and supply lines in Kostjiantinivka, which is useful without the need to further advance into that direction. Secondly it would create a threat in that direction, which would force Ukraine to equip additional positions there. Thirdly and most importantly, Chasiv Yar sits on the crossings of the Donbas canal. Holding it, would give the Russians a very secure flank, which would also keep ukr. artillery far enough away from Bakhmuth, which will be a better supply hub, if it can no longer be targeted. And instead of pushing west, the Russians can then push north along the canal and subsequently cut of ukr. supply lines for the Siversk region.
Hey Wyatt bro, why don't make a video like that old school without your face video. No insult. Just a suggestion to change things a bit.
People complained when i removed my face.
@@DPA-War yeah but I started following you without your face and the channel was growing more than today. It's just an opinion. Otherwise you are the best.
so 2.5 years passed and Russians still doing this three days long special operation? Bravo Putin.
Yeah and Russia gets 4 regions bigger than UK or Italy for free...🤷🏻♂️bravo Putin😃😃😃
@Necromass-pi2ih think what are you talking about. Russia attacked Ukraine, they are already defeated. Putin thought it gonna be easy win, now Russia is crumbling. Putin shown himself as an dumbass. He will continue this nonsense, just because he knows, if he stop, he is dead.
Is it joeover?….
I will hear that russia prepare 50k for attack kharkiv, this is fr or no? And, i think that this is a nonsense and impossible, attack with small forces.
You grammar - 💀
Wow… Ukraine is about to fall any minute now 😂
Can you admit that Weeb AND McGregor were BOTH right? You gain credibility through humility, dude. Try it….
Dude. This is just 1 day (and not even a full day yet). Chill~
He provided a rational reason why a Kharkiv front isn't needed. As to what the R MOD does, it's anyone's guess.
Don't compare weeb Union with an actual military man. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ukrainian troops are doing a very good job with the newly received weapons ??? 🤣🤣🤣
You are naive bro.
You can see what will happen in the coming couple of weeks. 🤣
Why russian troops offing themselves?
Thats cool do you have an answer?
Ukraine freedom won't be stopped 💙 💛
LOL, yes the Russians will free Ukraine. 🤣

@@jantzfitzgerald6115they dont free, they just destroy, and nobody want the nasty russian world.
@Necromass-pi2ih the thing you are using to justify the invasion of Ukraine... it s poverty, corruption, fascism and violence, nothing else.
The main impact will go elsewhere. This is definitely an auxiliary hit
you're telling me weeb was right?
Rus nato:5-0
