Such a great way to teach the orchestra to anyone, not just children. A lot of people really underappreciate the orchestra because they associate it with old music nobody except music history nerds care about, when in reality the versatility of the orchestra is unmatched by any instrument ensemble I can think of. Also I'm lowkey disappointed that the french horns didn't play the slow version of a star wars melody like they do in John Williams' soundtrack lol.

Thank you so much for this video! I teach elementary school music, and I use this to review the timbre of each instrument. Students love guessing the song, and it keeps them so engaged! I love that my young students get to see teenagers playing in an orchestra too!
Did you choose, I'm also interested in both but I still need to save up money. :) It seems like you chose the cello (based on your created playlist). Are you a beginner, how's it going so far?
This was sooooo good at school i HAD to watch it at home!I play trumpet and they were SO good!!!!!And the violins at the end was SO good to thx for sharing!!!
I actually remember I was in 6th grade back in spring 2015, my school went to see the Stockton Symphony Orchestra. I was 11 almost 12 years old back then and I was excited because that was the first time I ever saw an orchestra. Before the concert started, the orchestra separated and a reddish brown bell peaking from behind the stage caught my attention. After a couple seconds of looking, I realized that I was looking straight at the bell of a bassoon. I was surprised because before that day, I have never seen a bassoon before let alone one in real life.
Actually i would call the piano a percussion instrument instead of strings, cause there are hammers hitting on the strings to produce sound. Awesome job introducing the orchestra, really proud to be in one😙
My real time reaction to the violins: "Ooh nice foot stamping" "Huh familiar- OH" "WAIT OMG IS THAT SHAKE IT OFF NO IT CAN'T BE" "OMG IT'S SHAKE IT OFFFFFFF"
This is great, thanks for sharing this! My grade 2s and I were able to recognize all of the songs except the selection played by the harp. Can anyone out there shed some light on this piece?
Oboe and Violin being my favorite musical instruments in the orchestra AND they played Do You Wanna Build A Snowman and Shake It Off (and me.being obsessed with Frozen and loves Taylor Swift) YES OMG
Woah! Is that three bassoons I see??? That’s a lot, I mean it is more professional but at my school they don’t allow more than 2, and usually there isn’t even 1!
I'm an old man just watched this as I don't really know the less popular instruments, specifically the wind instruments. The clarinets are the coolest kids. :)
That's a huge cello section!
My 7th grade school Orchestra has 3 cellists
I know it’s huge
I thought the same! I've never ever seen such a large cello sections, I counted 17, though I believe i counted wrong so they could be more.
Violin cover to "Shake it off" is something I didn't know I needed until now

The Piano and the Harp were beautiful!
You're right the piano and harp are the two soloists of the orchestra in the string section.
The clarinets should’ve played something from spongebob in honor of our boy squidward
:0 big brain
Bruh

This was beautiful and so useful. Thank you for sharing.
This is music is all about, fun and no tense at all. There must be fun, love the instructor liveliness!
amazing but it made me even more confused about choosing an instrument. I just love how both the cello and viola sound
Did you choose, I'm also interested in both but I still need to save up money. :) It seems like you chose the cello (based on your created playlist). Are you a beginner, how's it going so far?
This is fantastic- it's exactly what I was looking for to show my child the different sections of the orchestra!
Orchestras interest me, they're very cool and seeing every part individually was great!
This was sooooo good at school i HAD to watch it at home!I play trumpet and they were SO good!!!!!And the violins at the end was SO good to thx for sharing!!!
Wonderful! I would love to play in an orchestra myself, perhaps one day..
it's never too late :)
You can do it I believe on you!

There are so many instrumensts in orchestra!
Its awsome that each instruments have unique sound but they make amazing harmony.
This is so perfect for UA-cam I don’t think that registered for him… this is a beautiful perfect demo
Wow you can almost hear their personalities coming thru as they play their instruments...that's awesome!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS! I AM S FILLED AFTR LISTENING TO THIS.
This is the first time I'm liking a video that school instructed me to watch. I loved all the songs (that I knew) and this made my anger go away fast.
Very beautifully done. Funny, charming. French Horns were great! That's my instrument.
Great performance everyone.
This is awesome! Thank you for sharing it! I use this video with my 3rd grade general music students in our study of instrument families. :)
Thoroughly enjoyed this.
It’s actually amazing to watch the percussion section cuz I rarely see them since they’re behind me
My real time reaction to the violins:

"WAIT OMG IS THAT SHAKE IT OFF NO IT CAN'T BE"
"OMG IT'S SHAKE IT OFFFFFFF"
That's me at first watching, except I didn't even know the song title despite it insanely catchy and recognizable.
This is great, thanks for posting it!
Squidward is always the best clarinet player in the world 😂
This is great, thanks for sharing this! My grade 2s and I were able to recognize all of the songs except the selection played by the harp. Can anyone out there shed some light on this piece?

i observed that these instruments have a lot of history and they have a lot of different hidden meanings in terms of history.
