That instrument is called shehnai (we Bangali call it shanai)
It is made of wood and a metal or a wooden flared bell at the end.
At Bangali weddings you'll see a group of people playing shanai and other instruments. It's a part of our culture.

For your kind information. Aurnob (Au for Austria) has sung a modern bangla song in urban posh bangla dialect and the other singer has sung Vaoaiaa, the very core traditional, you can say a heritage of Northwest region like Rajshahi of Bangladesh as well the West Bengal of India, specifically Kuchbihar. And Abbasuddin (let search in Wikipedia) is the legendary singer of this genera of folk songs in Bangladesh, we have nearly 120 genera of folk songs in Bangla language. Love from 🇧🇩

The song Arnab sang is his style of sophisticated urban music that captiavated our teenage & The other song by Boka is a traditional soul searching 'Vhawaiya'....I don't know if you can relate to this, but for me it's not a song but an emotion, it's a nostalgia of my teenage & tradition.

'Vhawaiya' is sung by the boatmen(majhi) of Northern region, You can relate to the lyrics when he is talking about his 'Sonar chand' (Sweetheart) referencing to the river & the river birds.
Imagine for hundreds of years, lonely boatmen have longed for their beloveds like this surrounded by water.
It's difficult to understand ppl & culture not being in the elements but you have all the good intentions 🙏

    4:31 it’s Sanai (Shehnai)
Sanai is a musical instrument widely used in Bengali wedding ceremonies. If you listen carefully, you will understand that Sanai's melody is sad. Because in marriage, the parents are saddened by the departure of their daughter to the husband's house. Maybe that's why Sanai's melody blends so well with this fusion of loneliness.

You will find a number of musical instruments that you can’t imagine! So traditional way they are made and played. And you know Bangla is one of the ear soothing and sweetest languages in the world! (How are you? in Bangla: Aapnara kemon asen? I am fine. In Bangla: Aami valo asi.) At leaat you should learn these two sentences 🤔💝

About this song, Chilte Roud is first song of Arnob's 2005 album Chaina Bhabish.
The other song is a Bhawaiya song "O Ki Arekbar" written by the legendary Abbasuddin Ahmed. A small fact about Abbasuddin Ahmed is he was the guru of SD Burman.
Bhawaiya is a genre of Bengali folk mainly from North Bengal (Greater Rangpur Region in Bangladesh and Coochbehar in West Bengal, India). Bhawaiya songs pierces through people, they are song sung with emotion. Bhawaiya = Bhav+iya.
There are many other genres in Bengali folk like Bhatiali, Jari, Sari, Pala Gaan, Kabigaan, Gambhira, Maizbhandari, Murshidi, Kirtan, etc.

The instrument u talked about it's a very much traditional instrument "shanai" or shehnai......
The tune of shanai is combination of joys and sorrows which use to make ur mind heavy .....& sometimes make u cry.... generally it's used in marriage ceremony as it's tune make ur mind happy and sorrowful at the same time.(as a marriage ceremony is a source of joys and sorrows in subcontinent because the bride left her home and family forever, and she start for new family & home)
The one part is modern song of Arnob and another part sung by boga is a "vawaiyaa" a very famous types of Bangla folk of north Bengal.
The song is about the deep Pain of departure of the one, to whom your love is ethereal and deep.& You r missing him/her so deeply that u feel the nature also can feel ur pain of departure.U r begging for meet him/her once in a lifetime.
Thank you,and take love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
