Who else came up skating in the late 90s when a “tech board” was a 7.5 and an even 8.0 was already vert territory?
I skated since the early 90s, in the late 90s ive always used 8" coz thats wer im most comfortable on. But i remember its hard to find/sell that size coz its considered Big board at that time lol
Yeah, 7.63 was always the sweet spot for me. I managed to find some a while ago and bought em up. They’re like unicorns now.

Neen!!! I ordered one of your inner demon twin nose boards 3 weeks ago from a well known retailer (I won’t put em on blast). The board was “lost” at the shipping warehouse! I need a twin nose board soooooo badly! I saw you talk about it on Nine Club and I got so hyped about it but now I can’t find one anywhere! Bro what can I do!?!? Hopefully I can grip up a few of these baby boards when they come out if they don’t sell out like mad!

Would those 148 trucks be good for an 8.1 deck you think?
Justin Joslin If you think you’re more likely to move up to 8.25 in the future, then definitely get 148 trucks. If you think you’re more likely to go down to 8.0, then get a pair of 147s. I used to ride 149s on an 8.25, it didn’t bother me. Just more truck to land on 😁
We better get them here in Australia. If they don't, you could swim here with your super fitness and deliver me one. Seriously though, can't wait to get a 8.125. One question, what the wheelbases?
This has me wondering if my two board setups aren't too different. I started skating a 7.5, and recently tried experimenting with a 8.5. Optimal for me seems to probably be somewhere in the middle. - Sick video Neen.
Yeah, size can make a huge difference to some. I have a 7.5 and after a few years with it noticed that control isn't there with big feet (I wear a 11.5). I often find myself having to adjust and stand on the front ball area of my feet (almost skating on my toes only) as the overhang is just too much. Just picked up Neen's signature 8.125 today and am excited to see how it works out. Your idea of finding that middle area sounds like the right plan and my advice would be to check your shoe size in comparison.

I'm recently sober and I was bouta buy a new complete to start skating again.then the fuckin rona kinda fucked that all up.. i also had a kitten follow me home so that was another surprise expense so ....these vids kinda keep me hyped to skate again. That twin nose is a trip tho! I usually ride a bigger bulbier nose with a thinner tail, I can't imagine having a twin anything..i don't even think iv seen one in the wild either.
If I go to my local shop and grab any Neen board would they all be twin nose?

8.25 trucks on an 8.125 deck? Do the axles stick out?
The perfect truck would be the Thunder 147 for the 8.125 but the deck is right in the middle between the 8.0 and 8.25 axle on the Thunder 148s. What you should take away--is exactly what he mentioned in passing: Spitfire FF 52mm OG Classic (i.e., smaller, thinner wheel with a thinner ride patch). His rep who sent him the equipment knows what truck/wheel combinations work that won't require any changes to the way he skates; probably sent what they had on hand: if it were Thunder 147's he'd likely be sending him some FF Spits Conical fulls as is probably Neen's first choice; but going with the Thunder 148s, they obviously had a conversation beforehand to discuss--they need him on new trucks and if 148's go w/ the thinner wheel to account for the difference, keeping flippy tricks feeling the same for him. Wider truck but an imaginary line from the board's edge where he flicks to the outer edge of the wheel's ride patch--that line is about the same with this combo. That's Neen's lever.

8.3 is still a little big, if anything is go even lower at this point. Solid 8.0 or something.

Anyone know why he takes off the shield on the bearings
allows the dirt to get in and out of your bearings. I usually pop off the shields after a month or two. Bronson Raw's are shieldless as well.
I think I've heard him mention that he does it because he likes having the noise when he's rolling. In one of his older videos.

I ride a 32.5, its pretty long but you dont really notice too much of a difference. Not gonna take away any of your tricks.
It’s a tad bit larger than a normal deck that’s only because the nose of your board is usually longer than the tail. In this case I made this board with two identical noses and both ends so it’s just a little bit longer. You can’t feel the difference.
