For the life of me I can't understand why people who own real estate in Canada don't just cash out, and get out. I was born and raised in Canada. Did 20+ years in the military and security services. After what happened through 2020-22 I had it. I will no longer support this utterly corrupt, totalitarian regime. In early 2022 I sadly sold our primary residence which was supposed to be our forever home, but I paid off our debts and converted much of the gains into precious metals. I escaped during covid tyranny with my wife and children and have been living in the rural countryside of Japan for the last 2 years. Plenty of ups and downs but every day we are grateful to not be in Canada, to have done what we did and made the sacrifice to our lives so our children can have a wholesome community and upbringing, and a future.
Sorry to hear that. Hope your doing well. I'm Canadian myself and was planning to leave for Japan for the last 2 years and was thinking about doing the same thing in regard to buying silver and gold, how did you get you metals through airport security in both Canada and Japan, did you face any issues? I would really appreciate your insight.

Do people really think the Canadian Government is going to be sending pension money out of the country at an ever increasing number? It will likely become a political wedge issue and then they’ll start cutting pension payments to ex pats.
What's worse for the government is you can decide if you want to pay taxes in Canada or your new country especially if there has a more favorable rate.

My husband is a senior Canadian military officer who has, and continues to express deep concern about the political trajectory of our country. We continue to stand and embrace the traditional judeo Christian values which created Canada, one of the greatest countries in human existence. Unfortunately, we have also realized the reality of our political situation here in Canada, which led us to down the pathway of seeking a second citizenship, shifting assets out of the country and preparing for a new life in the not so distance future. This decison has been challenging for my husband as he has devoted his entire life in the defence of Canada, only to find himself at odds with the 'new Canada'. Unfortunately, this battle is not one that can be fought and won by the military as it is an ideological war which has captured the Canadian institutions while indoctrinating the Canadian population. Each morning I watch my husband proudly prepare his uniform, head to work, and serve our country, while concurrently watching over 100 churches burn without consequence and complete apathy from politicians and enforcement agencies, toppled statues, a morally depraved public education system hell bent on indoctrinating/radicalizing children, political demands for individuals of european decent to be abolished from positions of authority/hand over land/personal assets, profound levels of political censorship and propaganda, increased hostility towards Christians and Jews, DEI/CRT employment standards for maintaining employment or being hired, politically classifying parents as 'threats' to their children, unreguated abortion, the extension of civil rights for certain groups (i.e. leftwing) and erosion of civil rights for others (i.e. conservative), increased taxation and cost of living, illegal seizure and freezing of bank accounts, iIlegally shutting down peaceful protests, erosion of freedom of assembly/speech/religion among many, many other factors. The Canadian Armed Forces, just like all other Canadian institutions, is ideologically compromised, and not just defends, but also advocates for this 'new Canada'. This is not the country he fought to defend. This is not the country or culture we will allow our children to grow up in. However, until our departure we will continue to fight and stand firm in our beliefs while petitioning our MPs, participating in legal and peaceful protests, joining like minded causes and educating the public. We contiue to pray to God, while concurrently organizing a life raft.

I do not recognize my “Canada” any longer. It’s one thing to expect tyranny, tax, corruption from government…. But the last 4 years taught me that our church, friends and family will most definitely call Gestapo on us and have zero regard for bodily sovereignty and human rights. In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world. Their are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions and the various other benefits, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia. Multiculturalism destroys the fabric and identity of a country. Socialism bankrupts a country.
It seems Canada's new citizens have special rights over the original citizens who pay for everything and go to work every day. Our government will be introducing Halal mortgages for a group of people who definitely don't deserve it, while the rest of us pay.

Been looking at leaving to the US, want to move to a coastal city in a smaller town. It's not easy to move to the US without employer sponsorship, healthcare is still an issue but once you get it sorted quality of care will be much much higher than Canada as long as you can get insurance. Housing is much more affordable in the US. I don't want to be stuck in Canada when the housing bubble pops and a divided and now angry population is out of home and looking for revenge.
I’d be careful about that one. @@viaseung Hey there. I really, really like Tucson. It's a very humble place, which I like. Nobody will ever accuse Tucson of being pretentious lol. People here are pretty relaxed on the whole. It's not a go-go-go city like Toronto. It's VERY affordable. Now, home prices have gone up the past several years. but that's the case everywhere. So it's still a relative bargain. When I first moved here 9+ years ago I felt like I died and went to war-mart :) What I like about it: - GREAT weather. I have seasonal affective disorder and arthritic conditions. There is no better place for someone like me than a place that is sunny, warm, and dry. Well, I'm 3.5 hours from literally the sunniest place on earth where people live (Yuma, Az). And it's warm and try. Yes, it's hot in summer, but don't let the numbers scare you away. Dry heat is far more tolerable than humid. I'd rather been in Tucson at 40 than Toronto at 28C. - very reasonable commute times. It's a small-mid-sized city. Here, a 30 minute drive is a hardship. In the GTA, by comparison, that's just plain normal - or good! - literally (LI-TER-A-LLY!) EV-ER-Y-THING costs less here with only 3 exceptions: healthcare (but the wait times are less and doctors actually have to earn your business because, unlike Canada, it doesn't take 2 years to find a new one), education, and sushi. In many ways, Tucson is exact opposite of Vancouver. Vancouver: mild, wet, and unbelievably expensive for everything but healthcare, education, and sushi. Tucson, hot, dry, and unbelievably cheap for everything but (wait for it) healthcare, education, and sushi. If you want to hear something crazy, it's literally cheaper for me to order Tim Horton's coffee bags to here on Amazon than it is for me to walk into Tim Hortons in Ajax when I go back to visit. Not a joke. - great natural beauty - mountains, cacti, palm trees, and beautiful desert flora. - If you're adventurous, there's lots of places worth visiting that are roadtrips away (e.g., Sedona, Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon, San Diego, LA, Bisbee, Tombstone, Rocky Point Mexico). On Scottsdale. I've visited there briefly a few times. It's the nicest part of the Phoenix metropolis. Having said that, I never get good vibes when I go to Phx. And whenever I talk to people with much more Phx experience than me, they all agree with my assessment that it feels to me like a soul-less concrete jungle. Traffic can be bad there, and it's significantly hotter there than Tucson. If it's 42C in Tucson, it's probably 45-46 there. That matters. I have shared my assessment of Phx with probably 10 people, several of whom have lived there. Every single one of them has agreed with me without caveat. A friend of mine who is from Scottsdale and came to Tucson for several years for school and is now back in Scottsdale living in an absolutely amazing apartment tells me he misses Tucson. But yeah, I love Tucson and would probably sooner shoot myself in the face before moving back to Canada. I wish that weren't so. I've always been a proud Canadian and will always consider myself Canadian first. While I'm in a luxurious situation, insulated from the crap going on up there, I can tell you that it brings me no pleasure seeing my country becoming a leading cause of depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.
@@cardiogirl798 hey :) So, I *hear* about this water crisis, but haven't noticed it affecting my life in anyway. Maybe my water bills are higher than they would have been 20 years ago. As for the heat, don't let the raw numbers fool you. Dry heat is - for most people - FAR more bearable than humid heat. I would rather be in Tucson @ 40C than Toronto at 28C. I personally have only seen one snake in over 9 years. Maybe 1-2 scorpions. However, I'm not someone who's super outdoorsy. Were I a frequent hiker or camper I'd see them more often, I'm sure. I do sometimes see javelinas (small hairy boar-like things) in my neighborhood. I see roadrunners semi-regularly. There are small little mountain lion type things around here - I saw one in my neighborhood once, and my neighbor saw one, too. Probably like 30-40 pounds. Anyhow, yeah, none of those things have bothered me. I expected the heat to bother me. I just figured that I'd live in Tucson in summer how I lived in Canada in winter - limit my time outside for a few months. But it'd still be better, as there'd be no snow on the ground messing with driving, nothing to shovel, and I wouldn't get SAD. But, interestingly, it has not been that bad. You limit your time outside during the day. But once the sun goes down it's much more tolerable and you can go out. And even during the raw heat of the day, it's not sticky so you don't feel like you constantly need a shower.
I don't know many people who have a budget for a few homes around the world. Stuck in Canada 🇨🇦 waiting to survive the real estate crash to forever come, while trying to pay for one home
Think about this: people have been coming to Canada for decades in search of a better life. The same people can move somewhere else. I moved, my friend moved, I am glad I did. I asked at the shipping company that moved my car and two containers of stuff - their business is booming. It simply does not make sense to be paying these taxes, these rents and if lucky - mortgages. And the car insurance. Canada I grew up in is gone and now so is me. The obvious prime choice is US but I moved to Europe to a non-English speaking country. This country needs me and other expats. 4 weeks of paid vacation time to greet me. Good luck with the people who are coming now.
Notice that all of the Commonweath countries are in "managed decline." Move where the WEF does not rule for a positive future. I loved Canada as a child. Everyone else misses Canada too!
You find out a lot about a country when you experience their health care system, regardless of your age. Ask yourself "If I get really sick in this country how will I get treated and what will it cost me?" This should be "one" of top items in the check list when choosing another country.
The question u should really be asking yourself is this country going to make me sick faster and reduce the quality of my life so badly and how soon will I need medical care because of it?
21:00 is GOLD! "this election is the most important election in history" When will people WAKE UP?! Voting is a complete joke and wastes OUR energy and power.
For those of us who grew up in canada, but missed out on buying a house, or buying into the "real estate stock exchange", if youre over 40, the chances of ever owning a house are pretty small unless you receive an inheritance. Basically, you need to face a new reality. You will be working 40+ hrs per week just to afford to exist, for the rest of your life, until you die.
I'm just gonna drink and get high to deal with this new reality. I plan on moving the caribbean I've been saving up to buy land and then build a modest home and live like moondog (matthew McConaughey)
Canadian born and this isn't the Canada i grew up in. I wish i could just pack up, sell the farm, and go elsewhere. It's hard when you have young small children.
Im Mexican- American and I remember talking to people from Canada ... they had so much pride in their Country ... hows that pride working out for yall now?😂
When all the rich people, that means corporations, politicians, etc realize there's no people in this country to enrich their pockets, it will be too late to save Canada. No amount of immigration can save Canada. One Canadian leaving can't be replaced with an immigrant. The reason is that the immigrant requires a lot of time to be ready for the job market. Meanwhile Canadians leaving are already working in their new places... I'm moving to somewhere where I can buy a home for my family... Bye bye Cadena!

As a Canadian, I've been an activist and leftist all my life (not the current fake Liberal/left hawkish brand that exists currently) and the most activist thing I have ever done is withdrawing my economic participation from this aggressive interventionist state. If I dont agree with the on-going policies of a given state, why would I PAY them literally HALF of everything I make?
A little too much of me me me to hold my attention. It’s nice I guess to be so enamoured with one’s own opinions, views, and lifestyle - bit it becomes really tiresome in a hurry. I could only stand about 8 minutes worth of that before I lost patience.

Very right! As the speaker said, “If you are not happy, just go where you are treated best”. It is not only Canada that is currently experiencing high energy costs, food prices have sky rocketed, there is high inflation, high interest rates, gas prices, too much immigration and lack of homes, etc. But there is always light at the end of the tunnel and I have a lot of faith in Canada 🇨🇦 becoming great again 😊❤
I'm retiring and moving out of this "nice" country, named canada. How it was mentioned by someone: three stars hotel for five stars price. Enough is enough to feed extremely hungry government...
Currently in Vietnam. Looking to see if I could retire in South East Asia. The Philippines is too dirty and poverty ridden. Thailand is nice. Vietnam is also nice. Going to Kuala Lumpur next week. Really cheap and nice looking Airbnb’s there.
I’m finishing up work in the U.S. and was thinking of returning to Canada to retire. I’m not coming until Trudeau is long gone. Even then it will take a long time to fix the damage, if it can be fixed.
It would be nice to hear advice for average Canadians. This episode is just a super successful dude who has a lot of freedom and money talking about how awesome his life is because he can live wherever he wants and do his businesses wherever he wants. This doesn’t really give any insight on where the average Canadian can move to.

People picking up and running away from the fight here in Canada is disgusting. Many of those fleeing now earned their wealth here, took advantage of our many benefits, a lawful society and stable financial system. If you people had any honour you would stay and fight beside those of us who love this country and want to fix it for our children and grandchildren.
@@richardmercer1275 I am sorry for people like you, I was alluding to certain Yozlu Tubers who imigrated here in the last couple of decades and have exploited Canada to become wealthy. There is a whole industry getting second and third passports for the 1% so they can move their wealth out. There is an excellent You Tube video in The Panama Papers. Interestingly out if the 90 or so countries entangled in tax fraud, Canada is the ONLY country that has nor prosecuted tax evaders or tried to collect the millions owing.
this is some tier 1 cuckoldry. these advantages that helped them earn their wealth, do you think that those were given for free out of the "kindness" in Canadian's hearts? they are paid through taxation which is compulsory, and is taken year after year. that is the price of the benefits that are given. outside of what is required, you owe the country nothing. Please get off your high horse. The people today are under no obligation to support their country just like their ancestors who left the UK/France etc to go to the New World and start their new life.
Born and raised in Alberta, I worked all over Canada and the US for many years in 2 different fields. I REALLY wanted to move to Texas, but couldn't get the visa/sponsorship requirements to align. Florida and South Carolina were favorites also, but the driving and people were too crazy in both. Always had a really good time in Texas, never felt unsafe, never had anyone randomly attack me (which happened in Both Alberta and BC). However with whats going on in the US today, I guess sticking it out in Alberta is prob the best bet, hopefully all the LPC forest fire arsonists are still in Jail, so we have a decent smoke free summer.

Once again... Canada allows retirees to move and live abroad and will still pay your pension to you. Many countries don't!! Once again, Canada allows citizens to have multiple citizenships and still retain your Canadian citizenship and other countries don't and yes including the USA!). Yet, so many want to leave and run and diss Canada now when they been paying your health care, old age pensions etc don't be surprised if they see this they start ending the retirees their pensions unless your in the country! Such a sense of entitlement it is sickening already, honestly...
The Government, the politicians and their masters/funders, treat Cdn taxpayers like slaves which need to be controlled and fleeced. Its been that way for decades, but now they've taken it too far. If you are forced to pay into a system, you are entitled to the benefit. You should be much more disgusted at the "new" Canadians of convenience, that come here, are unwilling or unable to work hence collect welfare, which then turns into a pension later, never having paid in a dime into a system. Free housing, food, clothing, school and medical. Nice if you can get it. My wife teaches integration/language courses for migrants and refugees. Do you want to explain to me how an migrant mother with 6 kids from a middle eastern country, who never attended school is ever going to benefit the system you complain about people abusing? How is someone with 6 kids who cannot write the alphabet going to be a productive member of society with the cost of living in Canada? One or two hundred cases wouldn't matters, millions do. With every new budget comes more taxes, restrictions and regulatory overreach. Are you surprised business owners want to leave? Everyone is hoping a new election will change things. It won't. It would take 15-20 years to clean up the mess made in the last 8 with a lot of pain. It would make the Mike Harris years in Ontario look like a walk in the park.
It will happen eventually, i left Canada 9 years ago (heath issues), as far as I can see the Canada I knew it's gone... With Harper everything felt secure and stable. I never experienced the instability of Trudeau.
You don't understand how federal Canadian pensions are funded, Employees and employers fund the federal pension plans. Example if paid into both federal pension plans. I started contributing at eighteen years of age in 1980. I'll collect it at sixty-five in 2027 thats forty seven years of myself the employee contributing and the employer's I've worked for over my 47 year working career. The federal government or taxpayers didn't contribute to my federal pension plans. The federal government administers the pension, invests etc. Now universal health care I'll have paid forty seven years into that government program as well through federal and provincial income taxes. However the country I've decided to retire has a capable health care system with an affordable yearly plan. Keeping in mind globally cost of living is up everywhere for the poor ,middle class gone, wages stagnant. Moving outside of Canada or the G7 ie west too countries with better exchange rates warmer climates etc. Westerners are not as welcomed as they once where. Immigration laws change much more often now and at a higher rate of speed. Remember it's the group's that controls vast wealth control's the framework they have constructed for us to operate and live in. Might see in the future near,a fair more equitable society. Ore a more authoritative society where life becomes a real struggle. Glass is half full, i think. Cheers

It makes the most sense for Canadians to flee to the US, if they can. Canada, or particularly Toronto, where I was born and raised, was hopeless and unlivable for me even over ten years ago. I had a chance to live permanently in the US, and it was the best choice I made in the last 10 years. Things in the US have changed for the worse since I've arrived but it's still much better conditions to progress and build wealth than Canada. I plan to make my wealth here and enjoy life in southeast Asia.

@@TDK2Kborn in Toronto myself. Toronto now is an utter shithole. I feel like I’m on another planet compared to the place I grew up in years ago. I moved to the US in the late 1990s because I could see the writing on the wall even then. Best decision I ever made.

@@Atlas_Steorra That won't happen, in this century. Currently only 0.2% of the population of the Philippines are foreigners. Yes this is true. 99.8% of the population of the Philippines is Filipino.

If everyone became an investor/digital nomad who moves from country to country, then who's going to do the real work? Without people doing the real work, a country falls.
Most digital nomads are capitalists and own businesses. They're the ones who take risks and create jobs. People who are content with a 9-5 steady paycheck, want to minimize risk, have little financial education fill those manual labour jobs by choice.

I left Canada 9+ years ago for Tucson, Az. Best thing I've ever done, and every year that goes by the decision only looks better.
Tell me more, our cfo lives in Scottsdale and he seems to love it a lot. How's Tucson?
We love the USA unfortunately I don't think we could afford it. 😄
@@2GringosOnTheGulf If you can afford Canada then you can afford most places in the USA.
When I first moved here 9+ years ago I felt like I died and went to war-mart :)
What I like about it:
- GREAT weather.
@@cardiogirl798 hey :)
So, I *hear* about this water crisis, but haven't noticed it affecting my life in anyway.
Most parts of the UK are cheaper than in Canada for real estate.
I don't know many people who have a budget for a few homes around the world. Stuck in Canada 🇨🇦 waiting to survive the real estate crash to forever come, while trying to pay for one home
and not to freeze to death if gas is turned off.

*I personally know of 3 different unrelated couples who since 2022 sold their homes and belongings in Canada 🇨🇦(nee Trudeau-castro's peoples republic of communist New-Chinada🇨🇳) and moved to South America and the Dominican Republic🇩🇴*
us!!!!!
Good luck in your fight.
How the hell do you fight? Not like voting actually matters.
Ireland?? It's the woke, WEF capital of the world! Last place I would go to now.
More woke and wef'y than Canada ? Impossible
@shanekenny9082 the Irish want to leave Ireland
You don't understand how federal Canadian pensions are funded,
Employees and employers fund the federal pension plans.
Cheers
It is not a big deal.People leave for all countries for different reasons. No country is perfect but some better than others. A lot of times, people are just thankless regardless of what they have. I blame brutal capitslism and real estate mafia the main factor
Ill definitely in the coming years look south to the states
Except the time to leave is right now.
@@asmith8947 cant afford to :(
@@RyanLangmuir same.. it costs money. People say "just move" like its so easy.

You'd need a visa too.
It ain't an open door 🚪 policy to the south.
