    just absolutely amazing. came here thru the female armor cosplay tutorial and i have to say i absolutely love it. im into cosplay for about 10 years now but always either purchased my costumes or borrowe dthem from friends. since a while i really wanted to get into making armor myself, and thanks to you i think i can actually do this ! your tutorials are so well explained and understandable. keep doing what you doing you are great! greetings from a german fan

    If you do a LOT of Plastidip spraying, you can get the brush-on canisters (or buy it by the gallon), thin it 2 PD/ 1 naphtha and spray it through a cheap Harbor Freight HVLP electric sprayer (as long as you clean the gun with naphtha afterwards). That's what I use when making large production runs of LARP weaponry/armor.

    Fantastic Tutorial. Lots of great tips and tricks. I used Acrylic gel medium for foam Iron Man (doesn't crack, it's cheap you can mix paint into it, but i used a brush as i didn't want to wreck my airbrush. I ended up with faint brush lines :( That Siphon spray gun is going to be an amazing addition to my arsenal -Thanks again Ted, please keep making videos!

    Love these videos! Pleasant surprise when the Inquisitor helmet popped on screen :D Really appreciate that you have lots of neat tricks even for people that have already done some foam fabrication. The sanding drum trick for details was great. Definitely will be using that in the future!

    I've seen this 3 tutorials and i am shock because all the info you metion is very step by step and all materials you use seem to be easy to get nice job :) now i have a pretty good idea on how to cut the foam with out cutting to much off it.

    Thank you so much for these tutorials! My 10 year old is a "Brony", and we go to the BronyCon convention in Baltimore every year. Last year I sewed my costume, but this year I wanted something way cooler. I bought a heat gun, planning on making my costume out of EVA foam, but didn't know where to start. Your videos have been an AMAZING starting point! My Little Pony is in NO WAY "badass", but I plan on us looking great this year, due in large part to your in-depth tutorials!
