For Butcher it was Homelander and for Hughie it was A-Train. Like the Flash, Hughie could probably subconsciously generate a friction field around him but not his, or whoever he was holding, clothes. The did show inexperienced teleporters in The Boys and they kept their clothes. Also, Hughie managed to land a punch on A-Train at Herogasm where he replied, "How did you hit me?" Super speed.

The one supe that shouldn't exist is Sage. Technically she should be able to figure out how to rule the world. She should be able to formulate chemicals to give her new super powers and out strategize everyone. She should be 10 steps ahead of everyone and no one would ever know if they were being manipulated by her.
This is why superhuman intelligence is a trope that you can only barely interact with in terms of writing. The only way to make it work is to present it as something mysterious that influences the story in unexpected and unexplained manners, like Deus Ex Machinas. If a character's intelligence is superhuman, then it also surpasses its human author's intellect. As such, an author cannot present super intelligence, depict it, much less describe it. Hence, Sage was doomed to be a completely flawed character that needs to be underwhelming in every possible way for the story not to break around her existence.

for the last time butcher doesnt have a symbiote nor any form of one nor anything that comes close nor is it even a good theory. if anything it would be from his tumor, temp v an compound v, creating a hybrid. his tumor most likely turned into an egg sack which then hatched the parasite thats in his body. its most likely attacking certain ppl he loves an misses in his memories to keep him going. 9/10 that parasite is also giving him the ability to use multiple powers. on temp v he had what he called scorched earth. when the parasite went to his eyes while Ezikiel was choking him, he probably used what Neumans power can do. in certain situations the parasite most likely adapts him to anything that could kill him. so it turns into a weakness an hunter and uses that. butcher is gonna end up being one of the main bad guys till he realizes how to control his power.

Hemokinesis is definitely one of THE strongest powers, any supe with 'ordinary' human blood should theoretically be vulnerable to her power. Also, wasn't Jordan Li able to "absorb" the energy from any blow dealt to his male form, and use it to massively amplify their force-pulse as a female? Kimiko is definitely Wolverine without the claws, and makes me wonder if she's as OP and nearly impossible to not-alive. (since he can be reduced to a skeleton and still, somehow, regenerate from it.)
Sage is much more powerful. She can predict her opponents' every move, so most superpowers are useless because she can avoid falling into a trap. I think intelligence is exactly the reason why humans are superior to stronger, faster and bigger animals. This can also be adapted to superpowers.
Nothing she has done in the first 4 episodes has shown me she's actually that intelligent. Her first plan with killing Hometeamers to frame Starlight failed. She didn't interview annika without homelander there. What has she done that's amazingly smart?

I think Lamplighter was immune to fire, as long as he wanted to be. As a very powerful pyrokinetic, he can direct and magnify the heat of flames, such as how he instantly melted a highly enforced cell door with the fire from a lighter, and this is a huge downgrade from the flame staff built specifically for his use as a superhero. There’s no way he would have made it to adulthood alive or at least without severe burns unless his abilities meant that he naturally redirected fire and extreme heat away from his body as instinctual behavior, sort of like how a person blinks if they see something coming towards their face, even before their mind may process what’s happening. The only time we see him being harmed by fire is when he chose to end things in front of the statue of the Seven, which I think is when his will overpowered the self-preservation instincts attached to his power.

Neither of them have "head popping abilities." That's just one way they can use their powers. Cindy manipulates pressure and Neuman manipulates blood, like the chick from Gen V. Neuman could do many other things with her power.
If I remember correctly, Victoria wonders if her powers would work on Homelander - but she's too scared to try if it doesn't work and he finds out it was her.

You could calculate what is the minimum amount of force Homelander's head has survived or perhaps what is an amount of force that did hurt him even if only a little.
Then check how much force you can create.
If you're can't even match the amount of force he has survived then it's a bust.
If you can create substantially more than it requires more testing.
@@retsaMinnavoiG The problem for everyone though is that Homelander seems to be more or less invulnerable. He's never been physically hurt, which is what makes him so scary.
So at that point in the story, nobody knows what it would take to kill Homelander. Even the strongest supes teaming up might not be enough to take Homelander down.
Starlight could have potentially able to do what Soldier boy in the show do if she is able to absorb energy from nuclear plants and she might depowered homelander
Technically, since the pressure equation is Force over volume, since termite shrinks down but maintains the same strength, it should have incredible pressure, multiplying the piercing ability of his strikes by many times.

for the last time butcher doesnt have a symbiote nor any form of one nor anything that comes close nor is it even a good theory. if anything it would be from his tumor, temp v an compound v, creating a hybrid. his tumor most likely turned into an egg sack which then hatched the parasite thats in his body. its most likely attacking certain ppl he loves an misses in his memories to keep him going. 9/10 that parasite is also giving him the ability to use multiple powers. on temp v he had what he called scorched earth. when the parasite went to his eyes while Ezikiel was choking him, he probably used what Neumans power can do. in certain situations the parasite most likely adapts him to anything that could kill him. so it turns into a weakness an hunter and uses that. butcher is gonna end up being one of the main bad guys till he realizes how to control his power.

Hemokinesis is definitely one of THE strongest powers, any supe with 'ordinary' human blood should theoretically be vulnerable to her power.

Sage is much more powerful. She can predict her opponents' every move, so most superpowers are useless because she can avoid falling into a trap. I think intelligence is exactly the reason why humans are superior to stronger, faster and bigger animals. This can also be adapted to superpowers.
Nothing she has done in the first 4 episodes has shown me she's actually that intelligent. Her first plan with killing Hometeamers to frame Starlight failed. She didn't interview annika without homelander there. What has she done that's amazingly smart?

I think Lamplighter was immune to fire, as long as he wanted to be. As a very powerful pyrokinetic, he can direct and magnify the heat of flames, such as how he instantly melted a highly enforced cell door with the fire from a lighter, and this is a huge downgrade from the flame staff built specifically for his use as a superhero. There’s no way he would have made it to adulthood alive or at least without severe burns unless his abilities meant that he naturally redirected fire and extreme heat away from his body as instinctual behavior, sort of like how a person blinks if they see something coming towards their face, even before their mind may process what’s happening. The only time we see him being harmed by fire is when he chose to end things in front of the statue of the Seven, which I think is when his will overpowered the self-preservation instincts attached to his power.
The Deep also packs some strong punches and seems pretty indestructible, as seen in S4E7 fight.
Ryan? Considering what he did to Stormfront he could very well be on his way to being the most powerful supe.

I never really got why they killed Translucent the way they did. Yes, his skin is hard as diamonds and impervious to pretty much anything. But why not shoot him in the eye?
