SOZO has been a wonderful liveaboard and cruising boat for her current owners, who are moving up in size. They have spent a lot of time and energy improving her, and it really shows. The Jefferson 57 is a traditional pilothouse motor yacht whose sturdy appearance and comfortable accommodations will appeal to serious cruisers.
Her three-stateroom, two-head interior delivers just about everything buyers are looking for in a boat of this type including an ample master suite and an equally comfortable VIP guest cabin. The galley is in the salon, and the spacious pilothouse-the focal point of the boat-has a dining table as well as port and starboard deck doors. The teak woodwork found throughout the Jefferson’s interior is notable for its high-gloss finish and meticulous workmanship. The cockpit is large and inviting, and both it and side decks are sheltered by bridge overhangs. There is a very spacious engine room and a deep and full-beam lazarette that offers plenty of storage.
Another place where SOZO really shines is the huge flybridge with seating for a small crowd. 2/3rds of the flybridge has a recently-added full enclosure with sliding openings, comfortable seating, and twin Stidd chairs at the helm for comfort underway. Built on a semi-displacement hull with a deep, prop-protecting keel, the Jefferson 57 will cruise at 9-11 knots with 450hp Cummins diesels.

Really nice boat and a terrific price. That's a perfect "travel someplace" cruiser...lots of room, storage and functionality. The one thing I would want for long distance traveling is a backup generator but if I could afford this beauty, I'd have the money to put 2 more generators in! Trawler style isn't everyone's cup of tea but these boats, to me, are a great combination of luxury and seaworthiness. Safe and sunbathing is a very alluring combination.

Nice yacht and great video. Negatives: Only 800 gallon diesel tank, short coastal range. No AC, forget about the Caribbean or Mexico. Ugly closet on aft deck. It appears there is no window in galley. Mickey Mouse TV in salon. Needs another 100 feet of anchor chain. Positives: Lots of diesel power and safe twin engines. Water maker. Great Fly bridge. Incredibly well kept wood interiors. Nice galley. Huge Pilot house with convenient side doors. Well maintained boat. Lots of nice plastic enclosures. Great location for dinghy. Thanks for showing.

Specs are aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall on the website, mate... really, all of them.
@@tuvia4082 Those aren't really statistics in boating terms, as the things that govern such data are so highly variable - Fuel consumption depends on engine speed, wind, wave height... any data is a 'best guess'. At 700rpm, you're looking at 1.1gph, while 2600rpm will burn over 23gph. It's not a linear scale, and your range subsequently depends on that fuel consumption.
The Cummins 6CTA8.4-M3 engines each burn about 15gph at 2200rpm... whether that translates to 9 or 11kts depends on the other variables. You'll probably get about 0.8-1.5mpg, on average, but any meaningful numbers would require a full test of a full tank... and then only apply to the exact conditions under which you tested it, anyway.
To quote Rolls Royce - "If sir has to ask, sir cannot afford it".
