- After Bill and Kurt had an incredible 2 hour hunt back a the Gold Coin Field, we returned for a full day of fun. This place keeps on giving. It’s absolutely amazing how many 1700’s coins and relics we’ve found at this site. The hot zone is getting bigger!

@27.00. Rob Lane beat me to it. George III trade weight. Sword symbol and ewer symbol. Crowned G for George III in keeping with all the George coppers that are turning up there. They are actually one of my favourite finds. It should be a certain set weight. HH.

Spoonfish Digger here, great video, as always. With almost a foot of snow on the ground and in the 20s here in Western NY, your hunt brought much needed relief. Now, if the snow melts, perhaps I can go out a couple more times before dead of winter.

Talk about a field of dreams, that one is the best! I can't believe the amount of coins and buttons you found. They just kept comin'. "Chevy, like a rock!" ...ha ha ha... I had to laugh! My generation said, "Heavy Chevy, four on the floor man! Grab a gear, stomp the gas, and put your foot in the carburator!" ...ha ha ha... This was such fun and at times hilarious! That was a 20s-30s Chevy hubcap. I found a 1918-24 Buick one on the surface on Molokai a while ago. I've also dug the brass model T ones too. An aluminum olde English "C"is a Chrysler. I'm a bottle/ dump digger. Last automotive, a 55 license tab from our 53-6, last big plate.

What a dream field!!!! Any pointers for finding a large cent at a 1877 farmhouse???fields on both sides, owner said people have detected around house but never hunted the fields!
low and slow. if the target has any potential at all to be non-ferrous, dig it out of the ground no matter what your machine 'tells you' it is. GL&HH
Large cents give a thump of a signal. If you swing over one you won’t miss it. Good luck!

The Hoover Boys Hey , I had am idea for you guys for a different video.
A night time dig ! Get the cylum glow sticks , zip tie them to your coil but leave enough loose that you can activate them . Go to a field, you can have moon light, but each person digs 10 targets. Blind, but you might have to get more go pros on each detector. Everyone puts in a dollar. Settle up at the truck, best find wins .
Get garrett to sponsor you with go pros. Call it the Mole stroll.
I've gotten permission on two fields. Around 60 acres each. I've walked most of them. Found out where 3 structures were. All I've found in almost a year of detecting is a 1956 wheat. Right now I'm working a property that had a house on it built in 1883. Haven't found anything yet. Still detecting no matter what.

is there any numismatic value on the big coppers you dig? yes they're old, historic and all but you all have made investments in your equipment and for me time is money. So do the coppers provide any return? Just curious, thanks.
Doubt they're worth much in dug condition. Some are extremely valuable but that depends on date, mint, and condition. I don't sell my finds.

Looking into getting the ATX, why don’t you use it on all your hunts? Goes way deeper than the max right?
It’s best for sites with bad ground balance when VLF machines struggle with depth and target ID
Do you guys put the buckle pieces back together (if they are from the same buckle) and who keeps it?
I’ve put 2 half’s together before. When they’re in multiple pieces they’re usually too mangled
