It's great to see your still riding and doing tricks. You were my inspiration back in the 80's. Being on the east cost there was no way I would have been able to meet you guys back then so I bought the freestyle magazines and learned to do tricks from the magazines. I would also watch any videos I could find always loved the beginning and ending of the movie Rad watching you guys effortlessly go from one trick to the next. I still have my 86 Pink GT Pro Performer. The frame and fork set was a birthday gift from my mom and dad I pieced the bike together working a paper route, any odd job I could and eventually was able to work for a bike shop basically for parts cause all my money went to parts. So since I worked so hard to have this I kept it under lock and key and was never very far from me. This bike was the only one like it in my neighborhood. My friends rode Mongoose, Huffy, Schwinn, Diamondback. My one friend had a GT mach one but was stolen from the apartment building he lived in. Always felt bad for him on that one. We later found out who stole the bike but it was long gone by then.
I had these dialed in back in the 80's it feels like I'm fighting the bike now to get these and I dont remember that back then.I actually flipped it and sprained my wrist last summer lol.I Dont know why I.m making it hard.
Boom! Bro just does straight up half a G turn (probably as fast as his gearing allows) Ok but for real why are you reverting opposite your spin? 1 like that and 3 screw ups trying to complete the rotation direction is the only way that counts and is is far superior to 3 of those. Remember in the entire Dave Mirra series, (even the demo) if you spin one way and then try going back, it removes your points. That all said, I don't actually care and you rock and I want to make videos too! Consider me that much more inspired
I'm a middle age dude who looked up to this guy when I was 11-12 years old.... makes me want to get a bike and start freestyling again! 😊
finally, the chairman is teaching us BMX in person! thank you!!
That was great! I always wanted to learn this trick but didn't know how. Please post more how-to videos. You're great at teaching them!
Martin, can you still do the "Chicken Hook Switch"? If I'm not mistaken, I believe you invented that trick.
The Chairman in action!!! 💯

Are you using your back brake to pivot out of the rollback, or pedal pressure? It's clean.

Is it just me that thinks the flywheels of today are tiny? Is that what we used in the 80s? I dont think so
