Love it, those guys having the fun of their life. NO money can buy that having fun with your mates doing your skilles and learn from eachother and having a good time. Love those blue colours on those bikes!!!
Love the upgrades done to this pro performer. It's probably the easiest way to get a GT and have the look and feel of those bikes we had back in the 80s.
This is one of the better videos I've seen of HB Tuesday in a while. Even if Eddie didnt show, good job! I'm still waiting for him to accept my cup of coffee!
This is so awesome! It was so much fun hanging around with my biking buddies in the parking lot back in the 80's in SoCa and this video brings me back to those days. I was never as good as some of my friends but it was always a blast. Its cool seeing Martin still riding. I'm a few years younger than him but I don't think I can pull off any of the tricks today that I used to do.
You'd be surprised. I say it was 100% sincerity. At 48, I'm actually a much better rider than I ever was in my teens. Now I don't heal nowhere near as fast, but that's another story.
That's so cool guys. When I quit riding and started chasing tail the main tricks I could do that were some what modern was several variants of the fire hydrant and a "falayel" Not sure how to spell that lol. I'm 53 now and wish I could find a old school Haro Master to play around in the driveway. I live in South Alabama so not to many meet ups around my area that I know of.
I went with a 300 mm Odyssey seat post. Those pivotal posts don't allow you to cock your seat back to that perfect angle though. You're definitely correct about that weird angle your seat is on, plus that stock chain wheel doesn't scream GT like the one you're going to swap it out for.
Have you added the 13T cog to the cassette hub yet? I would like to see a video tutorial on that. There's not much info out there. I have a 2022 Pro Performer Heritage 20" with skyways that I would like to change the gearing on. Great video! Love the yellow performer!
Love how the bike looks 👍Can you show updates on the 13t rear cassette driver fot the tuffs when you do get it. I heard a certain odyssey 13t cassette driver for the 9t skyway tuffs works . I had haro lineage 48 spoked chrome wheels with a 13t cassette driver and the same 36t gt sprocket as you but the white version on my 2021 gt pro performer heritage.
Oldschool is so cool i Love it😆Frame stand to bar spin. ...this Trick. Is very cool ....this is my next trick😆very cool.......a Big Hand for all the bmx Drivers......from Germany 😉
Thanks for this excellent video. I just bought the 2023 GT Pro Performer which comes in black color, I changed the wheels for the Skyway Tuff Wheels 9t, and also changed the sprocket for the same one you installed on this bike (GT Power Disc 36t), I have seen some websites that do not recommend the gearing 36t 9t, did you leave this gearing on your bike? or did you change the rear cog to the 13t?, if you think the 13t is better, where can I find this part and how difficult is to change it on the Tuff Wheels?. Thanks
@@RadBMXBuilds Thank you very much for you reply. Yes, I found it's very hard to pedalling with the 9t. Can you give me some advice how to change it to 13t? Thanks again for your help
Yesterday evening, I swapped out my chain wheel for a Utility Pro. I got to the specific shop that had them in stock about 8 minutes before it closed. Next comes another chain because this constant creeking noise is not what anyone wants to hear while pedaling at any speed. CREE😱EEK!
What did you end up doing with the layback seat post? If that fits the 2021 BK globetrotter signature I’ll buy it off you…would be cool to have one part that was in your garage on my bike. That, and I believe having the Layback on, there will actually help me doing certain Flatland tricks
Can i do this with any modern bmx? I dont like the looks of modern bmx , i love the old school 80s bikes but there too expensive to buy.. do i have to have a certain frame etc to fit retro parts on to get a retro feel and look? Any help will be awesome..im wanting to get into it with my kids , introduce them to bmxing..thanks
How’s it going. I’m hoping I could get some help. I’m trying to remove the crank of my bike to install the same sprocket you have on this built. But for some reason it’s not budging. Can you give any pointers how you removed yours? Thank you.
As a 10 y.o. I never knew why the GT was designed the way it was. I just thought they were cool a.f. later on I knew why the gyro was the gyro and why the bottom tube was designed the way it was but I was today years old when I learned why the back of frame was designed the way it is seeing these perform.

Considering the same. Always wanted a pro performer or redline rl 20II back in mid 80s but am also 6+’. And I dont really want a 24,26” etc. Thinking I want a real 80s and can afford $1000+ but I know how silly i am to be dreaming of a 20” at 48. Too many swap outs here which makes things expensive in a different way. Also looking for clues of new frames having longer top tubes than 80s/90s but still leaning retro. I commute on a 27” road bike so I know its a weekend/collectors toy. Cheaper than a car!
Hey man, it's cool you have a channel for BMX. I used to ride back in the day, and started again just riding and getting the kids involved too. Wow I love it 🥰 I wanna do this
1:38 Why you didn't use the half chrome chain? It seems it's a shadow conspiracy chain, much better than the one you put on?
I’m going for looks not what’s a “better chain”
