  • Taipei Taiwan is one of my favorite cities in Asia for many reasons! One reason is because of their metro! Taipei has one the cleanest, fastest and most efficient metros in all of Asia. It is very easy to use and quite interesting as well. Follow me as I explore every detail there is inside and outside of Taipei's beautiful subway system!
    Welcome to my channel! I'm Patrick and this is Patmax Adventures! I'm originally from California and have been living abroad for the past four years. I decided to start this channel to share my experiences and passion for travel with others. My goal with this channel is to share and show as much as I can of the World. My focus will always be on the culture, food and of course the local people of everywhere I travel to! I'm an optimist and always try to highlight the positives of a place rather than just the negatives.Though I will also be bluntly honest at times too! If you love travel and exploring far away places, then you found the right place!
    Join me in living every moment to the Max!! ^^

    I was born in Taiwan in 1978 and adopted as a 10 month old infant and now live in New York City. I would love to visit Taipei one day.

    I noticed most of the subway stations in Asia on your vlogs are all so nice and clean. I mean no trash and graffiti.

    HEY PAT, GOOD VIDEO. THAT METRO REMINDS ME OF THE MRT IN SINGAPORE. MUST HAVE BEEN DESIGNED BY THE SAME PEOPLE. ONE OF THE THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THE MRT, YOU CAN BUY A 1,2 OR 3 DAY PASS AND YOU CAN RIDE AROUND THE ENTIRE SYSTEM ALL DAY LONG. IT ALSO WORKS ON THE BUS SYSTEM.
    I WENT TO SINGAPORE LAST MONTH FOR A ONE DAY TRIP AND JUST BOUGHT MY ONE DAY PASS AT THE AIRPORT AND SPENT THE DAY SEEING PLACES I HADN'T SEEN BEFORE.
    IT LOOKS YOU ARE ADJUSTING TO YOUR LIFE IN TAIWAN VERY WELL. LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING THERE NEXT YEAR AND EXPLORING THE CITY. ALWAYS BETTER TO HAVE SOMEONE THAT KNOWS THE CITY SO YOU DON'T WAIST TIME TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHERE THINGS ARE.
    LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR NEXT VIDEO. THANKS FOR BRINGING US ALONG FOR THE RIDE.

      Thank you for another great comment! This MRT is very similar to the one in Singapore in many ways. Both of them are my favorite in Asa! I hope you have a wonderful time in Taiwan in the future! ^^

    I'm interested in this card. Can you get it straight from the airport? My guess filling it in 7/11. Can you use it on a bus? Can you use it outside the Taipei, Kaohsiung subway for example?
    For example T-money in Korea is valid also in Busan and Jeju. Never have to worry with cash and tickets.

    • @lin6499
      @lin6499 3 роки тому +1

      Yes, you can use the card on a bus, metro outside Taipei ,and a convenient store such as 7-11, Family Mart etc.

    Looks like a mixture of Beijing subway and Singapore MTR. Watching ur video at x 1.25 speed has been my listening practice. Haha
