This is all great, and Technics definitely needs all these components, however, for the real Technics fans and old school guys, Technics, Please let us have some High(er)-End stuff! A MkII of the R1 Reference series, and perhaps Technics Mono block amps!

It would be amazing if Technics would come back with a very nice and a reliable tape deck...I think soon tapes will be back...
Camera work could be better and shown cutaway better

Alma music in San Diego is the worse customer experience I have ever experienced in any business I have walked into. Do not waste your time walking in there. There are many shops that will treat you with the respect everyone is entitled to. And many stores that carry Technics products.👎
1500c is not a premium class product. C'mon.. That's a home product, that is made of plastic, and that uses a loud model name. It shares a same niche with many other models in this price range. 1200 euros is not a premium price. If they throw away useless preamp and a cheap cartridge, 1500c appears to be a mid range product. I'd rather purchase one of their great vintage amplifiers with a phono stage for a penny, than to use an internal phono preamp.
PS A speaker phase plug always(!) serves to mask a tweeter weakness in some area. That's like a signature: "we saved money on a tweeter and added that small plug instead". I would get rid of a speakers product line if I'm a Technics CEO. That's a wasting of money in an era of cheap Chinese copies and small talking boxes. Let them save money for further research and improvements of amplifiers and turntables. Huge electronics company that makes everything from a cassette to a loudspeaker is no more viable. It's easy to make a single great product these days, and Internet can make it famous after a short period of time. Thus the longer a product line is, the more risk is taken.
PSS I'm very excited that such great company like Technics paid an attention on "pure digital amplifiers" as MOSFET/GaN switches become closer and closer to an ideal switch, and help with that.

@@harryburnett7086 Yeah. May be. For me a premium starts from $10k Enthusiastic - from $4k The rest are for random people. But, I'm happy that they do not make naked budget models, at least. No doubt Technics is a respectable company.
@@sc0or I don't know. Very large multibillion dollar corporations could conceivably produce premium products at a much lower price point than small boutique audio companies, like KEF, for instance. Their Reference products are much cheaper than Wilson Audio's reference products.
@@sandman7849 Oh yes.. We might put a different meaning into a word "premium". I'm trying to remember which of "multibillion dollar" company made a high-end product during some time... That is not profitable for them. Thus, hi-fi+ means a premium product. In this case I agree 1500c is a premium one. Cause it stays a bit above 1200 serie. It's like to take a typical RCA cable, and replace connectors with a gold plated ones. Technically that will be a premium product. If I'm not mistaken.
Any way, there are many people who prefer to buy multibillion dollar company device only (for some reasons), and they need some advanced models to make themselves more comfortably.
