How do you tell if it’s built into the entire assembly or if it’s able to unscrew out. I tried unscrewing like you did because mine looks exactly like yours does.. but it won’t budge.
I didn't have to remove the front cover and the entire airbox comes out by removing the sensor clip and loosening the hose clamp. Push the hose off and down then from the hose side pull the air box up and it comes right out all together. I first have to loosen the top bar at all either. Much easier and faster. Took me about 5 minutes.
Do yourself a favor and skip Amazon and ebay and go to headlightrevolution.com buy gtr ultra II they're more expensive but well worth it. Lifetime warranty and adjustable collars. This is important because the light must be installed with the diodes facing 9 and 3 or else the beam pattern will not be legal and you'll blind oncoming traffic.
@@johnoakes34 You know what’s funny, after my post 5 months ago I went to Headlight Revolution and bought some GTR II! HUGE NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE! Lights up the road well

@@johnoakes34 they are brighter than the Yukon Denali’s HID, plus I bought some led fogs to match from Amazon. With GTRs on and led fogs, turns the night into day.

My light works but the led portion has went out. The line around the main light .Do I need to replace the whole light or could I fix the led portion?
What light bulb did you go with? Have a '16 Yukon SLT with the halogen bulbs and want to upgrade to LED

Hell I thought the whole thing had to be replaced, I had no idea it actually had a normal bulb
