THIS HAS NOT GONE TO PLAN AT ALL! - We've got a STALKER! (Van Life UK)
FINALLY we are back on the road! After a long few months upgrading and modifying our self built campervan, we hit the road again and try a bit of van life in the south west, in the beautiful Dartmoor! Can you wild camp or indeed stealth camp in Dartmoor national park?
If you watched our last video in the van build series then you may be expecting to see us travelling the Peak District, however, due to a small stalker issue, we had to change our plans at the very last minute and head west instead.
Hopefully you are enjoying this UK travel mini series as much as we are and we are managing to show you just some of the stunning landscapes that UK has to offer in this travel vlog.
As usual, we have tried to include a bit of everything, some cinematic scenery mixed with our usual female van life foolery, we always love hearing what you lot think in the comments so do let us know, and as always, thank you for watching!

Absolutely brilliant video and stunning shots of Stonehenge , stay safe ladies ,it's a sad world when two women have to change there plans because of stalkers, I would let the police know as they increased the penalty for stalking recently and are supposed to take it seriously.Thank you for taking us along on your travels.xx🤗💕

Okay that's not cool. I know you don't want to say too much and that's the right thing, but I'm contemplating the level of effort someone would have to put in to actually track you down with just a generalised area, and that's scary. Please make sure you do something about it if it persists. Other than that, great video and happy to see you (not literally!) down my end of the country. Have a great, safe trip!

Loving this trip, appreciating that it’s not what was planned and sorry to hear why. Know the area you’re in reasonably well and just a little jealous. Camped in fog overnight once only to wake up the next morning to find out I was next to Dartmoor Prison! Anyway, enjoy the rest of your trip, looking forward to the next episode. Take care.

Stalkers are so creepy! I’m really sorry you’re having to put up with it. Just please stay safe. I agree on the M4 Lou. I’m in Swindon and try and avoid it as much as possible! Also, Em if you like Stonehenge then you’ll probably enjoy Avebury if you haven’t been before. It’s a lovely tiny village that has the stone circle. It’s a large circle so you can take a nice amble around and you can touch the stones. It’s not too far from me in Swindon 😊.Stay safe both of you x

Yeah he goes off at the beach and into the sea, he loves swimming 😁 he had an op on his leg a year ago so that’s held him back a fair bit but he seems to be pretty much recovered now and yeah he is a rescue 😁

Theres a b road that runs parallel to the 303 missing the bottle neck, its on the left side of the map leading down 303 303 toward Stonehenge, nicer biew too, villages, nice drive , brings you out at the bottom.

I love your visit to Stonehenge! When I was a little girl we went to visit and you could climb all over the rocks. That was back in '74. I was 8 so not much interested in the history but it was a fun climb!

I've sent you 3 pictures on your Facebook of my friend Lorna after she followed your video tip from the £5 parkup from last week. I sent it to her today after I saw you as she packed her van for her first ever trip.
The early morning drone video of Stonehenge in the mist was awesome. Stonehenge is even more amazing when you "just come across it" as we did on our way to north Devon. I knew it was there of course but it just wasn't in my thoughts for our journey, and it was an amazing sight to behold.
Your pets are so precious. AJ is super handsome and so proud bless his soul. Love the drone footage over stone henge amazing. We paid for a visit and realised the road was right there so now we plan to go spend a night kn the road in the summer 😀 many blessings and much love ❤️

I live in Buckfastleigh, midway between Plymouth and Exeter right on the edge of Dartmoor. If you ever head this way again feel free to drop me a msg and I'll let you know some cool place to visit. Just a quick heads up and warning, it is illegal to camp in a camper anywhere on the moors, I'm sure you noticed with the signs all over the place but it's also illegal to fly a drone anywhere over the moors. Be careful you are not seen by the park rangers 😉

Look at the stone circles in Mineon not far from where you are. Just 500 years newer than Stonehenge and you can touch and walk among them. Dogs allowed too. Free.

I would rather sit on the M25 than have to deal with all the rubberneckers at Stonehenge. Any day of the week and in the season it's worse ...top tip come back late night the A303 at henge is clear and the stones look amazing in moonlight x
Junction 9 on the M25 Motorway is the Leatherhead Interchange.
If you exit at this interchange and join the A282, crossing the Motorway in the direction of Epsom, (London bound) you will pass through the beautiful and picturesque Village of Ashtead.
If you ever get the chance go and have a look around this beautiful Village.
Of course I’m biased in My opinion of the Village, because this was My Home from 1956 (the year of My birth) until 1967 (when I was tricked into holidaying in Australia).
As a local now trapped in a foreign Country I’d love to see the old place from your perspective.

they used to have a large tea room at Widdecomb in the Moor that did a brilliant cream tea!!
Great video as usual 🤗. Love your fleecy hoody Emily. How bloody horrible having someone making you feel uncomfortable and having to change your plans. We have a drive away alarm (think that’s what it’s called!! Can check if your interested to look at them) we can put it under the van and it sets a little alert off inside if anyone is to close. We have a dog which is brill for hearing anything. But sometimes I like the extra security of maybe knowing if someone is to close in the dark. Stay safe and hope you get your iPhone and go pro sorted.

The footage of the Stonehenge appearing out of the morning mist was superb. I keep my old phone as a dedicated drone controller which means the I've always got a back up should either phone suffer a mishap while we are away from home.
Only recently found your channel, but I love that I find myself smiling or laughing through most of the videos - I don't mean at your unanticipated disasters... well, maybe sometimes. I'm almost a year behind so plenty of great content to catch up on.

That’s annoying re having to change plans. Other vloggers put their videos out with a delay, n keep us all guessing as to where they are going next. Keep safe and don’t let them make you feel bad.. don’t forget that there are laws against this very thing..
Yeah ours are always behind about a week but normally we say where we are going next but we are going to keep changing it up and maybe just over a week behind 😁😁

Apparently, I will need a British slang lexicon to keep up with many of the phrases you use. They make sense in context, but I find it interesting to find out where phrases come from and exactly what they mean. Hey, Emily has her fun facts, I have mine.

Haven't said this before, Love the selection of music for your video. I don't know UK law really. I do know a bit about US, law. Please make sure you get police reports and start documenting this person. I am sure the UK legal is different than the US, but document everything. Your videos are even better when watched on the road. Sitting in my moho in Brittany with the dogs snoring next to me; thinking how great Dartmoor looks. We enjoyed the M25 experience three days ago. I didn't know it was possible to not like bacon! Sorry to hear about your stalker. There are some strange people out there.

I spent a few years based near Andover on the A303 so you would have been about 200 yards from where I used to live. The barracks is no longer there but it used to be a massive complex on both sides of the road during WW2. I hate the fact that you had to change your plans because somebody doesn't have the basic skills to pick up that they are creeping you out 😒
If you ever come up to central Scotland please feel free to give me a shout - you are more than welcome to park up outside my cottage and use whatever facilities you want/need. If you time it right you can even pick some lovely wild cherries or rhubarb within a few feet and Tentsmoor forest/beach is only a mile or so away for a nice hike.
