  • What rights do our Australian Citizen Children have to keep their parents and siblings with them in Australia. This country is all they know but yet they face being removed from their family if there are no visa options to remain. There is no visa class to apply for to make sure they are protected.
    This story is about Daryl and his young son Bronson. Daryl is struggling to find a visa to stay here but that is not right and the system needs to change.
    Australian Immigration Law Services is based in Sydney and provides visa and related services. Karl Konrad, our Founder, has over 24 years of experience and leads a team of MARA-registered migration specialists. Our team provides honest and accurate advice.

    Poor Daryl, I hope this video helps him out find a way. May be not totally, but I can feel how Daryl is feeling about the uncertainty. I graduated from an Australian Uni in 2019, right after which pandemic hit! I worked mostly in healthcare throughout the Pandemic and until now. I am on 408 covid pandemic visa and I can’t see a clear path ahead in my immigration journey even though I tried to do everything right since the past 5+ years.
    Also Thanks karl for all the information and support you provide. We need more people like you.

    Mr Karl.....my friend Ahmad is the father of 3 Australian children and live in overseas. He tried so many times to lodge visa but was denied due to racist immigration officer who hate Muslims. He falsely labeled on him as security risk just to deny to join his kids in Australia. Their mother tried all kind of visa but was denied in Canberra immigration ministry just this officer ruin their lives. At last she took her kids to Australia alone while he was left in overseas alone. That was 15 years ago. I told him recently why don't u apply and join your kids. He said I give up visa long time ago cuz that officer destroy my record. Can you help him.

    Unfortunately the system is broke. My son was turning 10 this year and becoming eligible for citizenship, me and my wife both temporary residents but we decided not to wait for his passport and happily moved to Canada on PR visa to get a certain future. We can understand the feelings of separated families due to immigration policies.

    Hi Karl, I have been regularly watching your weekly editions and cannot thank you enough for bringing us all the updates. Any thoughts on what would be the reason to neglect 189 Offshore visa applicants from Oct 2022 round and give grants to more recent Onshore Applicants from December and May rounds for the same occupation. Regards

    • @Johnwatto12
      @Johnwatto12 Рік тому

      Because onshore applicants should be prioritised first, we studied here, paid lots of tuition fees, we are working hard, paying taxes, doing everything we can to make our Australia home permanently and when invitation round comes government is giving invitation to the offshore applicants, its not fair. The government should prioritise skilled onshore applicants and should recognise their hard work. Offshore applicants should be prioritised slowly and gradually. I hope government prioritise onshore and give lots of invitations in this month of August

    • @administratorshan
      @administratorshan Рік тому

      @@Johnwatto12 your stupid logics are purely based on empathy and gratitude. 189 has no mention about such bullshit. you may ask the government for a special empathy visa to reward the reasons you are claiming. 189 is a skilled visa and there shouldn't be any difference between onshore and offshore grants. My opinion is that offshores should be prioritized as only that will add more heads to elliviate the ongoing skills shortage as onshores are working already anyway regardless their visa status changed or not

I have applied for 189 (on 06/05/2023) and 190 NSW (on 15/05/2023) visa on 75 and 80 points as a Veterinarian currently onshore on 482 visa until July 2025. Would you recommend taking the IELTS or PTE? I scored proficient English on TOEFL iBT (one mark shy of superior in one section) despite English being my first language. Or should I just wait on my current score? Thank you.

    As one of many family visas, 117 Orphan Relative (subclass 117), which, according to DOHA website, allows orphan to be migrated to Australia as permanent resident with a sponsor, has so far the longest published processing time of 114 months(!) (that’s equivalent of 9 years and 8 months) across all visas listed on DOHA visa processing time website. Because that page is sorted by A-Z, 117 is nearly at the top, an irony to the visa processing for sure.
    In my opinion, Australia should be the country everyone can enjoy living, whether you have billions or just start settling with not much, where you are coming from, how old you are, regardless of belief, gender, ethnicity and so on. Isn’t that what Australian value all about? DOHA really seriously should take a close look into family visa category and find a solution to end the suffering of all.
    No one should be penalised just because they want to live together long term as part of a family.

    Dear Karl, u think very logical, u understand the problems immigration aspirants r facing, they r going through very tough phase; away from families, expecting this to happens since years, many have lost very crucial period of their life, many couldn’t plan their future course of actions due to looming uncertainty, many couldn’t marry, many couldn’t take important decisions like buying homes, changing jobs, starting business of their like. They r waiting and waiting to happen this and have no choices.

Imagine the further costs involved. So I guess if u wait for your visa for 3 years you will be asked to do 3 medicals one each year while waiting for your Visa grant??

    This is a tough situation, but ultimately the law has to win. You can't have a country that gives people every possible excuse to stay in the country. Changing this policy would effectively give people the incentive to use children as human shields against immigration services.
