Whether it’s metrics based or genuine feeling compare the substance and vocal performance of Beyoncé’s & Kendrick’s Records to Drakes. It’s ok to admit he put out a mid project without pandering to get a long shot interview.

I loved the conversation about this House genre in relation to Drake and Beyoncé. I think because we’ve been in the pandemic for so long and a lot of people been going through it. It does take a minute to digest this upbeat fun music that’s being released when not everyone is in an upbeat kind of mood.

I strongly agree with both points being made. I think that sometimes we forget the impact and power music plays on a consumers mood. As a consumer you can be sad and want to listen to sad toxic music or you can be sad and want to listen to something upbeat to change the mood. I think for some people there’s a disconnect from being indoors for the past two years to then being thrown these “outside vibes” with this genre of music from Artist who aren’t known for dabbling in this style of music. But I do think it’s fresh and exciting for a new music genre to be at the forefront.
It don’t be that deep. Y’all make all the excuses for y’all favorite artists when they drop mid songs.

House Music has been thriving in UK, Mainland Europe and South Africa for DECADES (yes, I know it came from Detroit and Chicago clubs originally)... This is just Mainstream Artists playing catch up with a diluted, derivative version of whats popping outside the mainstream.

No I don't think this is the greatest album ever or anything like that.
