As far as part of the show I get what everyone is saying. In a perfect world everyone should be capable to come together and discuss the change in dynamic and morally he is correct that if she’s imposing those boundaries on him in his relationships he should be able to do the same especially if it’s not rooted in jealousy. BUT, what I think Joe and Ice was trying to say is REALISTICALLY it’s not gonna get you anywhere with the approach. Because in the real world hypocrites exist. In the real world not everyone stick by their word and so the only thing you can do once that happens is to react maturely & adjust to the new situation for the sake of your child.

I was with him initially until the convo kept going x then I realized something.... when they divorced he never had to emotionally divorce. He was able to be with other women x so have his family! She probably never dated seriously all that time because she expected them to get back together but it never happened! She had to see him with other women, he didn't have to so now that she has someone x set boundaries he is just now experiencing the loss x grief of the divorce x losing his family! He no longer can control that household! He has to let go now, she no longer his!

@@ruvikelly5563 Growth and change is not always comfortable, but necessary. We can't expect for new things and new people to come in our life staying the same. Thomas made it seem it was more for his comfort, not the child's. Kids have to adapt to changes all the time as we all do. As long as the child has 2 loving parents doing their part I'm not sure why setting boundaries would be an issue.

Another amazing show. Loved the r&b segment, Joe was illustrating a lot of strong points about the realities, shoulds, woulds and shortfalls of the symbiotic business - creator relationship. If Shay Lia is the reason I start up a music streaming app and Osé plays after, any engagement that I make with Osé's song should result in some residuals for Shay Lia. I Sales and marketing companies pay lots of money for targeted customer leads. If Osé earns engagement and new fans from Shay Lia's long-time loyal fanbase, I agree with Joe, Shay Lia as an artist should be paid for that. Enjoyed the discussion.
It's topics like this that would make for an interesting deep dive into cultural differences and tastes in r&b music between the JB team and a Black British youtuber team. Have y'all ever thought about shooting specials from international locations? Do a few locations in Central London and if you're feeling it, a few raw street / field interview shots to really immerse viewers in Londoner culture.

That new sampling sound is called “Sample Drill”, one of the first songs to get big with that sound was that B Love “My Everything” produced by Cash Cobain. I’m not really a fan of it or Fivio for that matter, but I actually liked that “Say My Name” song. Also I wouldn’t say that Sample Drill has a direct correlation, but Berg definitely is responsible for the song flipping in the last five years or so.
