Violins have a lot of pressure on their strings and lifting it up even slightly by its strings is not a good idea. Interesting to see the violin I ordered which has not arrived yet, I upgraded to finetune pegs and dominants.
You didn't even play it! How would you know if it is designed for advanced students or not?! Craftsmanship in an instrument is not just about the looks. The sound is more important. I have heard your teacher play one, I have played one, and let me tell you, it is not designed for advanced students with that price tag. (There are plenty of cheaper and BETTER instruments out there.) This is an instrument for someone who has a loaded wallet. That's it.
Don't touch the bow hair! The oils/dirt on your hands can prevent the hair from absorbing rosin!
UGH.. I freaked when he started touching the bow hairs!! LOL
why is that?
The oils or anything else that might be on your hands can damage the hairs...
hair*
We all violinists did
hydrometer is for the humidity and the long hollow tube is to hold extra set of strings. nice violin
That long plastic tube is for extra strings new or old.
The hydrometer measures the humidity in the case, because if it’s too dry it will harm the violin.

Yea don't touch it and loosen the bow after you use it of the hair gets bad, remember it's new don't ruin it
