I agree with paperbags17, the writers turned one of the most layered characters, who *pretended* to be superficial, into someone who *is* superficial. Which is really a shame, because there was/is so much untapped potential within DiNozzo.

DiNozzo being superficial was a cover and suddenly he became too shallow as a character just so others could shine. That's really unfair.

I love Dinozzo and he's funny and I love that he does stupid dumb things and says funny stupid things. I'm a chick that loves guys like that. my bf sometimes says stupid jokes like tony does, it makes me laugh. also sometimes he make a fool of himself all the time because he wants to.

I miss my Tibbs.
I love them and I feel bad that DiNozzo's character didn't evolve as much as he could. He is not Gibbs' for nothing, however, they didn't evolve his character as much as they could. More than that, his connection with Gibbs was great and during the series they had moments in which they made it less than it really was.
I'm sad it wasn't as it could have been, however, I will treasure all the good stuff I watched and keep my fix-it fanfics since the canon had flaws.

I will never not miss Tony or the old real team. It was so much better before ziva and Tony left. And then Abby :( The show should have ended when Tony left if not when Ziva did. I can't stand bishop or the new team. Its just not NCIS anymore it doesn't have all the characters that made you fall in love with the show. It lost the heart of the show and the chemistry that the cast had and that their characters had with each other! Have not watched any of the new ones after Tony left I couldnt even watch the season that Ziva came back when I heard Tony wasn't. I do watch the old seasons though.

No cause that's just weird asf to 'ship' them. Dinozzo refers to Gibbs like a father all the time and Gibbs refers to Dinozzo as his son. They're a father/son duo.

New agent. Eleanor Bishop. Though she's not as funny as Ziva and as charismatic as she was, she was a good fit.
will i get in trouble here if i say i hate dinozzo??? dont get me wrong thou i love ncis everyone in it except hi... i fast forward most of his scenes... i wish they tame down to his character its some kind of an over kill... i didn't mean to hurt anyone who loves him i really just have to vent... :)
