It wouldn't matter if you pulled Walter. Minofuck is mean, but not that mean. Just that Walter+Minotaur is the worst introduction into why Smirk is important I've ever seen
@@rift3487 if you do magic and luck into the picking the right elements for the both of them they aren't that bad. STR/DEX chads have a hard time with both though.
@@theking5116 is luck really that good in smt4? Although I like to believe that my phys flynn was a part of the reason as to why I struggled against medusa I also think the boss is inherently very difficult, at least more than the other meme’d newb wipes
@@rift3487 ah I wasnt clear leveling magic and picking the right elements by luck is what I meant. Luck isn't very good for magic. Can't even crit magic with it in 4 unless smirking. I remember playing smt 4 when it first came out and going all STR/AGI/LUC in the 3/1/1 configuration and did just fine despite STR being broken. The bosses aren't necessarily hard in my opinion but the early game and lack of options for party building are. Like all SMT games 4 has an inverse dificulty curve.
Nocturne meta : Early game : Sukukaja, Rakukaja, Rakunda, Fogbreath. Mid game : Makarakarn, Tetrakarn, Tetraja. End game : Tarukaja, Debilitate, Charge, Freikugel.
@@mosessangateor in short smt 3 nocturne likes to screw with the player on random encounters luck where you could die before your turn begins. Hard mode is just players being a massocist to that head on.
The enemy AI is supposed to account for items used. At least I think it’s supposed to considering all the bs difficulty tweaks this game’s known for, but there’s a video of someone who accidentally cheesed the Surt fight by having a fire repelling magatama equipped and having Surt use *nothing* but fire moves, so idk. TL;DR- what you described doesn’t always happen in-game
Frankly, I am in shock and disbelief this actually worked

git bad
Me who overprepped for Minotaur knowing how much his difficulty is memed

Medusa’s way worse than Minotaur imo

In one of my playthroughs, Sakahagi died when he cast Maragion when I had a Cerberus in the party. I actually laughed out loud at that one.
His shoulder looks like an upside down Nyx Avatar, I bet it's the same model
She's even derping
He's wearing the skin of dead manikins on his clothes
You would never take advantage of Shin Megami Tensei's innate gullability.
Full counter team 😂
My GF rolling up to Matador with a full team of Null Force demons on hard mode was like:
Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne has screwed us again!

>dies

His attack got reflected back onto him with Makarakarn

how did you get amaterasu?
You gotta fuse Yatagarasu and Take Mikazuchi for Amaterasu
