This segment was so good. I love when they go to places outside Norway. It is always interesting to see them in different cultures, they are so good at connecting with people.
I think not so many polish people knows about this audition and these videos - so funny! - I sent it to my friends - Ylvis are so amazing! Greetings from Cracov (Poland) :)
There was an interview with M. Prokop and D. Wellman in "Dzień Dobry TVN" at 9 a.m., so the whole Poland heard about them. Unfortunately, the audition took place the same day, so probably not many people from other cities could arrive, specially as the audition was between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. ;) I've just watched the whole interview on "Dzień Dobry TVN" site (dziendobry.tvn.pl/wideo,2064,n/przyjechali-z-norwegii-zwerbowac-polakow,179496.html) and can't undestand why Prokop and Wellman (hosts) weren't told how to pronounce Ylvis' names... He pronounced it just like there was "normal" a instead of å and like their last name was Polish...). BTW. I'm addicted to these guys, just watching their pranks one after another. If I ever start learning Norwegian, it will be probably mostly because of them ;) Anyway, greetings from Warsaw (Poland)! :D
Kotna Everdeen I know about morning tv and interview but it was too late (the same day) and not whole Poland heard about them but a little percentage who was watching this day this chanel and this interview doesn;t make everyone to check who Ylvis are and how amazing they are. I was dissapointed by this interview. A propos - maybe polish people don't know how to say å
Kanana Not the whole but still, if you want to make sure a lot of Poles hear about it, you should go to a morning TV. It's probably the best way. You know, people eat breakfast and watch it. Or at least it's said so. I don't know, I don't watch TV. Maybe half an hour weekly, probably less. Anyway, still more people will find out than if you say it on radio or write in Internet. But yes, visiting TV the day the audition was to take place, wasn't the best timing.
Agreed. A morning show is one good way to spread the news. Only that the target audience of a morning telly differs significantly from the sort of goofy people Ylvis would most like to see at their casting (hence the candidates that showed up were, on the whole, rather unimpressive)
+Julia Levelle Hard to tell if Vegard's startled, or if his ears perked up because she does command your attention with the first line, and she does have a nice voice.....

Sarah Palmer the whole point of going to poland is because it’s normal in Norway to give polish people jobs for cheap so this is irony
''(...) kicking people on the street. It would be a dream come true." :)
+Sylwia B I wonder how much of that was edited together :p
+GameOfThomas what is the point of wondering? ... even it was edited, it's funny :)
