I watch this video often to fall asleep, and it’s it never gets old. Even though I know what he says, it’s still a surprise. I can’t explain it.
Oh man I played that Head Elektra pro in 89' i actually still have it. Twaron baby! 😂
the Thrifting videos are the best....It is always neat when you can find something you were hoping for but not really expecting.
4:16 The Yamaha logo isn’t arrows. It comprises three intersecting tuning forks.
It’s a Japanese samurai family mon or crest and it actually is arrows.
@@bengray5013 You’re confusing your arrows and your shuriken.
@@jerome_morrow nope, it’s you who is confused here. I’ve spent over 20 years studying Samurai history and culture, you on the other hand are completely clueless.
@@bengray5013 Whatever you say, mate.
@@jerome_morrowI'm not your mate, Jerome.
I’ve never seen so many racquets at a thrift shop! Pretty cool!
Saw Arthur Ashe defeat Bob Lutz in the US Amateur finals at the Longwood Cricket Club outside of Boston in August 1968. Lutz was using the Spalding Smasher. He broke a ton of strings in the five set match.
The small-head aluminum racquet is a Spaulding Smasher. Good name- that's what I ended up doing with it!
Great post. Thanks.
Nice pickup on the PS90. 👍
I love going to my local thrift store, never know what you will find. I picked up a Vickie wood racket for $3 the other day with the press.
Where I live, the GoodWill, Salvation Army and other thrift stores do not have tennis racquets.
I see a pair of Jordans in the glass counter!
And here I am finding broken wooden ones here and crap metal ones
The PS90 can be sold for U$200
My Goodwill never had anything close to this if anything at all. I had one of those Wilson 5.5 when I was in H.S. one of the worst racquets I've ever hit.
surprised that the store had decent racquets--a GW insider said all quality donations go straight to the internet which seems to be the case in SoCal.
Kinda disappointed you didnt get the Party Penguin
