    Just before I start to get more in-depth with the new CAME-TV Boltzen LED Lights that were featured at the NABShow 2017, I thought i'd start by showing how their lineup is being laid out. CAME-TV has really laid out a lot of options depending on what your lighting needs are. At this time they've sectioned out their Boltzen LED Lights into Small, Medium, and Large.
    The smaller form factor Boltzen LED lights are targeted to shooters who want something portable and battery powered to be used on locations. They can be powered by 3 different options from Sony L Series, V-Mount, and AC wall power. With the lens attached you can adjust Spot and Flood, or remove the lens broader coverage, and even attach an optional Bowens Mount adapter to use off-the-shelf third party modifiers (i.e. Snoots, softboxes, beauty dishes). The 30w version is completely silent, but by adding a fan in the exact same form factor they were able to offer a 55w version. The 302/55w Lights come standard with barndoors, and if you want fast modifying they just dropped the new Magnetic Snap Kit.
    The medium size Boltzen lights are currently available in a 60w (fan-less) version and a 100w version (with fan). These offer similar features to the smaller Boltzen lights as it's possible to power them off v-mount batteries (with optional adapter cable), include barn doors, can be modified to use Bowen mount accessories, and includes a fresnel lens with Spot and Flood adjustments.
    The Large form factor Boltzens again offer similar features as the medium sized, and are available in 100w (fan-less) and 150w (with fan). At this size they start to include features like DMX control, and area also available in color temp adjustable models (bi-color).
    My next video will show the output between the different models, so stay tuned for this. Visit their website for more information about CAME-TV Boltzen LED Lighting: Boltzen LED Lights: cheesycam.tv/Bo...

    Super helpful video. I was trying to figure out the physical size and get straight all the versions, so this was perfect.

    Can you comment at all about the loudness of the fan models? I own a 3-light 30W fanless came-tv kit and am very happy with it, but want to add a 4th light that's got somewhat more power, so I can gel one or two of the 30W units as hair/rim light. My work is mostly in a quiet studio for instructional videos or interviews, and I'm concerned that the fan will be picked up by my cameras. (I'd read of fan-noise concerns with the Dracast lights)

      You will not hear the fan noise on the 55w and other boltzen lights. They know that is a concern and have made them just about completely silent. I believe the fan doesn’t even run all the time.

    The brightness between 55w and 60w is noticeable? I really need a fanless light

    Hi there. Thanks for the excellent video. Do you know what's the use of the looped wire with the snap hook which is included in the bag of the Boltzen 150W led? Thanks for your time.

    Hey MrCheesycam, will you check out the new Came-TV Terapin Gimbal Support? There is not much info around on it yet and i'm keen to hear what you think of it.

    Were you able to test which ones can run off a single v-mount battery? On BH and adorama it states that some models require 24 volts DC (2 v mounts), but on Came-TV.com all lights are listed as having starting DC at 12. I want to buy one of these lights but they're product info doesn't make it very easy lol.

    Is the wattage changing if you are changing colour on 100W Boltzen? How its done by filter or another yellow COB?

    Quick question which of these 3 would be a solid choice to compete with the Dedolight dlh4 ?? I would mainly use it for events like weddings and such. Thanks

      The new medium sized ones I think are really going to be popular. 60w or 100w and will be able to run off a single v-mount.

      The smaller Boltzen 55w is actually very good for weddings and are small and portable. But if you need that extra punch the Medium sized will be even better. I'll be doing a review on that after I get back from IBC.

    Hi MrCheesyCam, first, thank you for your reviews, very well done!
    I'm sorry to ask you an OT question, but I need to buy a monopod and I saw your comparison videos: I'll like your opinion.
    Which one between the Sirui:
    www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1024709-REG/sirui_bsrp324s_carbon_fiber_monopod.html/prm/alsVwDtl
    and the new iFootage Cobra:

    Thank you.

      +VideosProva Sirui and ifootage both similar. IFootage is faster to disconnect head. Right now I prefer this: Cheesycam.tv/LibecHFMP

    • @VideosProva
      @VideosProva 7 років тому

      Yes, iFootage is faster. The only thing makes me doubt, it has shorter legs than Sirui. Do you think it's less stable than Sirui?

    • @MrCheesyCam
      @MrCheesyCam  7 років тому

      I haven't compared their stability, but it make sense that Siriu would be more stable.
