Gary Beach was so incredible. I walked by the theater, went inside the box office just before the opening and almost bought tickets. But, didn't. Been obsessed with his performance in the movie for all these years. He will be so missed.
Love Gary..I worked crew many years ago on Something's Afoot with Pat Carroll (here in Rochester NY) many years ago. A great performer and a great person. He was a highlight of that production.
Tom was a master craftsman. I didn't see Lane and Broderick onstage, but by the time I did see The Producers, Gary Beach was still in it (or had returned), and his performance is among the funniest stage performances I've seen.
I saw it in Chicago and it was spectacular! I have never laughed so hard for so long at anything, my muscles hurt after. It was a brilliant broadway musical in fact that it was disappointing to watch the movie because it was neutered by the loss of 3 songs and Cady Huffman as Ula. Uma thurmond does her best But Cady Huffman was brilliant.
Attended the Chicago tryout. Best show I have ever seen! Gary Beach was INCREDIBLE! The whole "Springtime for Hitler" number absolutely killed me (I especially liked the "challenge tap").

I saw the original cast of The Producers and it was the greatest thing I’ve ever seen on stage. Gary Beach will absolutely brilliant
Gary Beach was a gift.
We are so sad to learn of Gary Beach's death. Our love and sympathies to Jeff Barnett
Gary Beach is a delight to listen to here. Wow. Both men are.

So sad to think that neither of these men are with us anymore. Rest in Peace Gary and Tom.

What a fantastic musical
I was watching the 2018 Tonys (the year Gary Beach passed) and I dont think I saw him in the In Memoriam. Anyone know why?
He died a month after the tonys, therefore having to be in the next years in memoriam section.
Gary passed in July 2018 while the Tony’s that year were filmed in June
@@cleansandshark1 Thank you for that explanation
I still don’t know how Gary Beach passed away.
He was not THAT old.
He had a massive heart attack.
@@terrygoodrich2006 oh, how sad!
