All it would've took was one shot, but you could tell it was personal for Hunter and crosshair. Hemlock got absolutely lit up.

I love how Hemlock sound truly terrified. He is used to have everything under control, Tantiss was his kingdom, his fortress. He did not face such challenges until Bad Batch showed up, and his prized cx assasins were defeated, he lost his base and everything. Great character with deserved death
Hemlock met his match in Omega. She was a chaotic little gremlin, the living antithesis of all that. She came back to Tantiss and immediately started setting up the pieces of her escape. She wasn’t locked in that base with Hemlock; he was locked in there with her.

Besides the scorch part this scene was incredible, I love how Hemlock sounds like he’s going a bit insane with how he’s lost everything

Rampart and Hemlock’s deaths were so satisfying
Can't say the same for Scorch
It was quite a chuckling moment to see Rampart die that way, but Hemlock really deserved that way.

yo they fried the HELL out of hemlock, i was so happy & emotional when she ran & hugged Crosshair, i really did NOT expect that ending
Hemlock took those blaster bolts like a champ for someone without any armour. He just refused to go down until he was literally forced off the side of the bridge by the impact.

Not counting the binders, Hemlock was shot 6 times, one for each member of Clone Force 99. Pretty poetic when you think about it.
Dr Royce Hemlock was one of Star Wars best villains in years and I loved that we were given a truly darker imperial enemy a true threat to our hero’s and a badass villain for season 2 and season 3 shame we never learned the secret about his gloved hand but some mysterious are better left unsolved and what’s truly scary about Hemlocks presence in the Star Wars universe is he’s finally gone but his legacy and work on Project Necromancer will live on years after his death during the New Republic era showing how instrumental he truly was to The Empire

Hunter and Crosshair were so done. The way they keept shooting him...that was personal.
Scorch didn’t even get a shot off. What a shame. Rest in peace Ner Vod.
He got what he deserved. Scorch betrayed so many of his brothers

The fact Crosshairs’ hand got hurt in like Episode 2 and that shot happened in the series finale shows that Filoni had a plan from the beginning- awesome way to end one of Star Wars’ best ever series

Five shots on the chest is no less justified for his brutal tortures he did. Not to mention how he is willing to go against his own word to keep Omega alive by threatening her.
The HUG brought tears to my eyes. Omega reuniting with her father figures😍☺😍☺😍☺
Crosshairs southpaw shot was reminiscent from Sniper where our lead took the shot in the rain with his shooting hand mangled from torture.

Of course, but the progress was severely hindered due to the Bad Batch's actions. It's the reason why Palpatine's clone in RoS is so weak and barely able to sustain his force essence, because the key component that was Omega was lost.
@yumallah If capturing Omega was so important, why didn't Hemlock inform the Emperor about her and filled him in on everything? That way Palpatine can send multiple proffesional bounty hunters and spies to retrieve Omega and kill the Bad Batch, but Hemlock instead insisted he could do it

I like how they actually decided to kill Scorch and not stun him.

i will say. scorch tanked those shots quite well. but armor can only protect you for so long. (who knows though, he MIGHT have survived. Gregor has survived worse)

Dr. Hemlock has to be some kind of elite if he tanked about five blaster bolts before falling off the bridge. That’s even more impressive than Scorch’s performance moments earlier. Apparently Hemlock’s built different 😂

I know it’s simple, but I love that Omega remembered she had that scalpel and trusted her brothers enough to know they had a plan, and she needed to create an opening

Usually, it takes one blaster shot to kill someone. And considering Hemlock wasn't wearing any kind of armor, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he was probably already dead after at least the 2nd shot. Hunter & Crosshair just wanted to keep shooting the prick till he fell over 😅
Actually, after every shot, it looks like Hemlock was literally stabilising himself with his arms to stop himself from falling over. There was quite a delay between those last few volleys. If Hemlock was already dead, he would’ve fallen over by then. The fact that he didn’t means that the madlad took those blaster bolts like a champ without any armour until he fell off the side of the bridge.

Yup. Hunter and Crosshair had just been tortured, so their first two shots were imprecise, and only wounded Hemlock. The third and the fourth were already fatal, but they kept shooting out of anger and spite.
They did Scorch so dirty... Should not have gone out like that... Shame

I think that decision might've been factored by Omega likely noticing that Crosshair was missing a hand
I love how Omega hugged Crosshair initially before including Hunter. Such a beautiful moment! The one thing I was certain of was Cross’s redemption but as predictable as it was seeing the growth in his character and the bond between him and Omega develop and strengthen was beautiful. Her initial hesitation to hug Crosshair and Hunter’s go ahead gesture was a nice touch too. I actually missed it the first few times where it was only a quick glance at Crosshair. So well done!
Emperor Palpatine will send his apprentice, Darth Vader, to deal with Clone Force 99. Along.

If you notice at 0:57 hunter and crosshair actually gave scorch a chance to surrender. They only shot him again when he pulled his blaster on them. Interesting detail
I really thought in the end Dr Hemlock would’ve won overall knowing that it’s trying to tie into how Palpatine returned. Buuuttt Dr Hemlock was completely destroyed lol and his work too.
Was expecting a little more to Hemlock, like he had a plan to enhance himself if he had too. Satisfying though.

I’m so glad that Hemlock finally died at the end I didn’t like that guy on the Empire
He was a competent and faithful servant of the Empire. The loss of his brilliance will be sorely felt throughout the Empire. If Hemlock hadn’t died and his research had continued, Emperor Palpatine would’ve mastered immortality long ago, and the heroes would’ve never been able to stop him.
Hemlock really said, “if I die, my research goes with me”

Tbf I think back in season one he took five stuns granted it was stuns but I think he had shield then maybe the amount of stuns he took broke it and just never fixed it

The tantis base is not totally destroyed. And the data/materials the emperor was looking on his visit is not destroyed. An imperial remnant can reclaim this base and relaunch the project

Scorch was loyal to Hemlock and the Empire throughout the whole show, so I don’t think it would’ve made sense for him to just turn against the doctor at the end.
I was expecting a much more gruesome death, oerhaps burning alive ar being thorn apart by the Zyllo beast, but this would do I guess. At least he got what he deserved at the end.
