Hello. Will the sea buckthorn cut with the harvester grow back next year? before mowing they looked beautiful and I wonder if there will be a crop in the next year.
Some will, but it will take years to recover. Its painfull to watch this. If you have the hectors I guess you can afford to do that. In Siberia (close to Mongolia) there are thousands of hectors with sea berry. Harvest is open to public and we still don't hack down the bushes like that even though there is an abundance. Great thing about seaberry bush is that even if you burn it down it will grow back from root and it lives for over 30 years.

No it just prunes the tree, it will grow back healthy
The branches are removed whole so that the berries can be frozen while on the branches so they are easier to remove.
