My new pulsar ther ion is due to arrive tomorrow. Cant wait to get it sighted in and head off fox shooting. Thanks for the video from Western Australia.
Well Mark,I’ve decided if I’m ever walking across a field at night and someone shouts ‘hoi’ l ain’t stopping and looking!…it might be you!😂 hey great shooting!
Alway enjoy your video's and I admire that you included that first fox which wasn't your finest hour but imho had you of had NV on it would have been clean .
I understand why you took the shot and in the spur of the moment we probably would have done the same. But hey at least the farmer will have lambs, to keep great British farmers going.
Mark are you using the PIP on the Thermal for reference for the shot or just filming purposes?🧐🤔As I didn’t think the main window of the shot picture was precise enough for the actual shot?🧐
@@260rips Good lad, like any good foxer the devil is in the detail. Nice to see left handers in action, good shooting in that wind. Will be looking out for your new boots lol
Well done Mark....as always!!! Not the greatest video on shooting deer: - Equipment - gloves (green and surgical), Face cover, knife, drag rope, Roe/Munty call. - shooting it front on low in the neck??? assuming the bullet travelled all the way through the body cavity - The animal was still alive when they arrive at it!! This is the kind of thing we need to be very careful of showing.
I think you need to have a word with editing team should have cut the walk up to the deer wear it was clearly still alive and then tell us about shooting it whilst still holding the knife you finished it with lol
That bloke deer stalking was the most boring thing ive ever watched! The only amusing bit was when he walked over to the deer and it lifted its head an looked at him 🤦i like the channel but you need more action and less chatting crap. 99% of viewers are deer stalkers so stop telling us how to suck eggs and show us some shot footage.
So did the deer actually look at him then? I rewind the footage and still wasn’t sure if it did or not. I’d like to think that if the animal was still conscious then this information should be included in the video. BTW I’m not a hunter myself but a keen air gun plinker just in case anyone thinks I’m an anti having a nag
As I stated in the video, I took the running shot as I thought I may have wounded it with the first shot as there was a hot splash on its body visible as it was running - like blood - this turned out to be in fact a patch of mange.
Deerhunter clothing is actually excellent, it was the 20-30mph wind blowing across a crap mic that was not very good! 😆 the clothing doesn’t make any noise 😉
Cracking follow up shot. It cant always go perfect. Glad they showed it
That second shot at the fox on the run was legendary 👌

Yo! Seriously... One of the best vids on this channel in a minute. Excellent episode.
Excellent shooting Mr Ripley 👌
Nice follow up shot Mark. You can't shoot perfectly all the time. Great video this week guys.
Great show tonight Chris, especially these two segments with Mark and Stewart/Stuart ( especially the inference to the 'heft' of those binos. :)
Great show mark👍

Nice work Rippers
You need a USA coyote trip with that running shot 👌 bonza
Stunning shooting from Mark! Great show as ever👍
I know marks not the tallest fella but he makes that 6 inch steel target look huge 😂
In my defence I must point out it’s a 12” target! 😆
I understand why you took the shot and in the spur of the moment we probably would have done the same. But hey at least the farmer will have lambs, to keep great British farmers going.
Perfect shooting. What adjustable rifle stock do you use on your Tikka?

Yes your quite right, I’m using the pip window to shoot by with the main screen on base mag for clearer footage 👍
Nice job Mark, what happened to your wellies in the wet...😇
They have a split in them! Just ordered another pair 😉

In fairness there are also a lot of novices that watch the channel too 🤷🏻♂️ 😉
all the gear and no idea thousands of pounds spent ,does my tits in go back to basics

Pretty sure that deer was still alive when he walked up to it, cuts to him bleeding it out. Should've taken follow up shot.
If you can’t kill it on your first shot then don’t take it. I’m all for pest control but don’t let things suffer.
you must be like me don't shoot them on the run there is always another day.
@@bogroll11 i totally understand I didn’t mean to sound nasty as I do hunting myself and know it’s not always 1 shot 1 kill.

Good shooting Mark. Deer hunter not very good, could not hear his commentary
