Yes it’s strange that she is laughing so much, mainly because generally it’s not accepted. But you can tell it’s nervous laughter, tell me have you not been in her shoes before? Like when you where in middle school and had a report you had to read to the class wouldn’t you laugh nervously? FA-I know. Look at all the comments, many are complete projection and accusations without any proof. I also notice that many Americans are so divided and playing identity politics. If someone is “socialist” or “left wing”, than people become very scared. But like you say, what’s wrong with trying to fight for the climate and wanting every American to have affordable healthcare. I lived in america for 3 years and now I live in the Netherlands and oh boy, what a difference. The Netherlands does not have these extreme cases of people having huge debts because they broke a leg. It’s honestly a human rights issue that is lacking in the USA.
Our right wing have been brainwashed by think tanks into thinking that Medicare for All will cost the government more money, and also cost them personally more money in taxes than what they already pay their insurance company. It's a combination of ignorance and the gullibility to believe pro-corporate propaganda.
