Like Vito said she’s gone from a shy girl and blossomed into a confident woman. Wow! She has took this series by storm. I love them. Every dance she has done has never disappointed. Even the quickstep where perhaps there could have been more quickstep in it, but they were portraying the Disney musical and i thought every little girl who watched that would love it. You are fantastic Ellie and Vito❤.

Yes!!! Give her the Glitterball NOW!! I have been waiting for her Couple's Choice after Fleur's. Slayed, just as I expected! Ellie has been the most pleasant surprise. If you told me before she, as a soap actress, would be slaying like a professional pop star, I would not believe you! But Ellie has risen like a bright star. I have not wanted a single couple to win above all since 2015. She needs that Glitterball! I guess Craig is keeping us waiting for the finals to give her a ten, just like he did with Helen.

The fact that they didn’t get all 4 10s was a crime of robbery -
Ellie and Vito have broken many a glass ceiling with the dances they have done together; Ellie has impressed and transformed into an incredible dancer and Vito as always amazes with his talent.
The swing at the end was mind-blowing and iconic that takes trust, dedication and talent and totally proves how amazing their partnership is. I can’t wait to watch their final dances in the final.
I mean they made some mistakes after coming out the lift she wobbles and some timing issues what a minor but Craig only gives a 10 if it’s perfect

I would disagree at 1:30 after she come out the lift she falls forwards and other parts she doesn’t keep up with vito don’t get me wrong it’s a good dance but don’t think it was underscored
Don't be ridiculous. The best dance of the night was the Charleston. Second best was Ellie's Cha Cha. Third I would probably give to Bobby's Quickstep. Ellie's great, but this routine was a disaster. The judges wanted to keep hype going into the final but this was probably her worst dance.
It was the worst dance of the night 😂😂 Very heavy and awkward!! Layton's Charleston was one of the best dances there's ever been on the show.
@@kellymartin4178 people get so carried away in their love of Ellie that they want to claim every dance of hers is amazing. That’s simply not true if you look with unemotional view. James Jordan, who is a big fan of Ellie’s, said he would give it no more than a 7. Probably her weakest dance of the season.
@@dajtoad1 100%. Think even the judges got carried away with the scoring on this dance!! It definitely wasn't worth a 9 or 10. Deffo agree that it was one of her worst dances. I like Ellie but thought Saturday wasn't her best night. Was surprised she wasn't in the dance off tbh. But shows she's obviously very popular.

Ellie & Vito have been my favourites for some weeks for their amazing consistency BUT i didn't really enjoy their couples choice as i thought there were some timing issues but then again im not a fan of couples choice in general!!

I'll get murdered for that but when I think of Ellie's Salsa, American Smooth, Charleston and Argentine Tango this just didn't blow me away as much. I think the Dua songs could have been different for more impact but for me what really didn't make this a 10 was that I felt it was abit start and stop at times which is a shame because it was brilliant, great energy, fabulous flirtatious feel, great flexibility and a hot captivating dance but I actually felt that THIS was the too polite one not her Cha Cha, yes she had sex appeal but I wanted her to be more sexy and firey in her movements and that is just being incredibly picky considering the fact she is one of the best and most consistent the show has ever seen. Another partnership I love, Vito is a whole other vibe, I really do see these two winning I have a feeling its happening 🏆

I loved it, what a couples choice, not as good as Fleurs but still incredible, really reminded me of Molly's Showdance 10/10
Makes sense but I prefer Ellie and Vito over Fleur and Vito (although they were not bad) in terms of partnership and when I say that, I'm not talking about the performance, I'm talking about the couple itself! They are both my winners and I'll be so happy if they are announced as winners.
Did the judges ignore Ellie's legs wrapped around Vito's neck whilst being spun around? That in itself deserve 4x10s!!! 😮

Some of the judges are hell bent on Layton winning and continue to underscore Ellie. I often back Craig's scoring but I'm sick of it now. I don't mind who wins at this point, I like them all for various reasons but it's really unfair to underscore (CRAIG!!).
That's not true at all. It's purely your perception and a perspective that's not based on fact. Ellie has had some fantastic scoring, received incredible praise, all of which is well deserved and it's been fantastic seeing her blossom like this. Her Cha Cha Cha was superb last night, the couple's dance, not so much - very clunky and frantic, she even wobbled in the opening seconds when she used the chair, but did make a great recovery and that's to her credit. Overall, she received the marks the judges felt were just based on what they were critiquing. I will be rooting for all the couples in the final.

I have loved this series of SCD I gave up watching last year as it seemed to lose its way somehow for me. I have loved Ellie and Vito from the start but I was not really a fan of this dance. Saying that as others have commentated couples choice is definitely not my favourite at all, I think it needs a re-think and to bring something different to the show. They both come across as a lovely couple who have not taken anything as a guarantee but have concentrated on the dance they have been given each week. Congratulations to all the finalists I hope to watch a fantastic show next Saturday.

I was a little disappointed. Didn’t like it as much as I hoped. At times in both dances Vito was out dancing Ellie which you saw a couple times through her a little off. That whole let’s get physical was weird. She’s great but this was not her best. Vito needs to slow down and allow her to shine . She should get in the final. Because she can dance not because of a made up romance.

I want to love Ellie because she is musical and hard working and, according to forums, has a lovely personality, but she almost always looks heavy in her routines. I think she is not very flexible. In this number she did look wooden.
I was glad to' read your comment because I agree with you and every week I have been wondering what I am missing because everyone seems to think otherwise. I don't question that her routines are well executed and she has become a very good dancer but for me there is just something lacking. Maybe this is just an issue of 'chemistry' and I just happen to prefer the style and choreography of other dancers which makes me look more favourably on their routines. I still think that Ellie is a good dancer but she doesn't move me with her dancing and I didn't like this routine either.
1.) To think those daft pillock bosses of ITV and #coronationstreet wouldn't let Ellie Leach nor Colson Smith dance on #corrie .
2.) After watching that dance, Ellie & Vito deserve not just 40 points.........but a 1,000,000,000,000 points on #BBCStrictly
