Fillers does lift the skin and improve the overall cheekbones but it does not improve the skin quality if you had terrible skin. I had a lot of marks on my skin left after acne. Fillers have made my skin look greater but the marks are still there.
I was wondering if you could answer this question, please. I live in the UK and about a year ago I bought a home derma roller with a needle length of 3.5 to increase my collagen. I initial started off with the smallest needle and worked my way to a needle of 3.5mm for which I have been using for a year. The results have been great. About a month ago I had fillers done to my cheeks and now I was wondering if can I do micro-needling. My research shows that it can be done but it does not mention the length of the needle. I scared to do because if the needle length is 3.5 and it penetrates the skin it can damage the fillers. This is because I think I read somewhere that the fillers are placed under the skin at a depth of 1.5mm underneath the skin and by me using a 3.5mm needle it can definite rupture the filler. Am I been paranoid? I would ask the doctor who performed the fillers but she gone on holiday and won't be back until January
