I was worried you were going to execute Harald Sigurdsson at first. That would have been kinda sad. I'm still attached to the old guy even though he's an enemy now. Glad he's still alive with how many leaders immediately died in the last campaign
For the Cavalry's Nightmare, you should include one of the accessories that add dismount on thrust. Named Companion Changes: ➕ 11 Hired (51 total) 🪦 1 deaths (6 total)
the reason they walk backwards is because the enemy got too close. when you got them to run the enemy charged forward and closed the distance before putting up their shield and walking carefully (to allow them to stay in a coherent block), which happens when they get close enough.
The Technoblade companion brought back memories. He was a famous Minecraft UA-camr that died. He had a series where he played bannerlord which was my first introduction to the game. It was what eventually led me to your channel. Thanks for making so many great vids and playthroughs strat
Hi strat! I’ve really enjoyed your let’s plays, and tried doing bandit play through myself, but then I felt like the beginning of the game was the most satisfying for me. And I’ve made a mod that changes early game a bit. You loose gold and all gear when imprisoned, companions included, but you have stashes to store your gold and items. I’ve also added option for negative relations with all hero’s from the start as well as starting naked with nothing or as a looter. This way loosing a battle means you might get your head chopped off on top of loosing everything you did not stash. It really made the game feel better and more rogue like, and making your kingdom seem possible but distant. Maybe you know some ways to make the game more hardcore that I’d try to code in?
I love the mace bonk farming compilation, it's very cathartic 😆 Also, speaking of redesigning your weapon, I'd be fascinated to see some kind of loose guidelines for crafted weapons in rbm
Another great video. I hope to be joining the army soon with all of this companion expansion! I would also say you handled that battle wonderfully when the AI pulled that fast one on you. Considering the situation you found yourself in, the outcome was impressive 👍🏻
Ok I'm just 10 mins in but wanted mention this before I forgot. Couple things I noticed that you forgot prolly because you played this on a different day than the last episode. #1 khuzait has that city because that was the one that rebelled before. They defeated the rebels then peaced out with you/ vlandia shortly after. #2 those troops that you threw away were troops you were going to donate for influence after a battle last episode. I guess you forgot and went to battle with them again lol. #3 I haven't finished the video yet but craft a better 1 handed mace lol.
Ooh I didn't remember that part about the rebellion, makes sense. I recorded most of this campaign over a 3 day 14-hour per day sessions lol so it was a bit of a blur.
Clan Guiscard will be a name most feared by those that would see Norman/Vlandian blood quenching the grass. Also the one handed mace is painful to watch lmao, it’s range is so short. 😅
another great video, Sill curious about the 25 Crossbow perk(Ignore 20 armor) in RBM and if that would make a difference for you to start some range units. your going to need the back bone eventually for suppressive fire.
Ive had about half my infantry because something similar happened to me at the 23minute mark, when one of my formations didnt want to run to the designated position. I feel like that would be an interesting mechanic to add, being able to control the movement speed of a group without changing the actual formation.
I love this playthrough! I'm glad I found u Strat I was just watching ur bannerlord tip videos and smithing videos and then I started watching ur different playthroughs and so far this is my favorite one! Keep it up I love watching u
Instead of locking an inventory slot, you could increase/decrease the priority of one or more stats over the others. That's usually what I do in order to auto-equip the items I think are better rather than what the mod says are better.
I don't think the balance of power for battles considers the companions correctly, which is why the AI thinks they can take you while down in manpower or composed of mostly trash units
I'm not sure the butt additions on the polearms do anything in RBM? At least for me they all have zero weight and change nothing except the value (seems that adding materials adds value even if nothing else changes, which I think is why daggers are so valuable in RBM, cus materials). Thanks for another great video :)
Interesting, I've not seen that happen yet. Must be a bug because if you're the one starting the siege, you should remain in control. Unless they changed things??
@Strat Plays I thought maybe the higher rank general took command but it does seem like a bug honestly. Happened on my last save file as well. Not starting over again
8:07 see what? shorter spears have higher damage numbers, plus it is easier to hit the peak damage range. if you couch then it is nicer to hit people from further away, so length is good and worth the trade if you couch. if not then it probably not worth the trade. look at more of the flags in smithing, some of the lower ranked ones give more range.
That fight against Harald was peak AI screwery lol, your side was defending so even with your numbers advantage the vlandian AI was content to just sit back and let Harald come to them... Probably looking at your warband going off on a flank like "dude, go ahead but we're just going to hang out back here". Chock it up to arrogant vlandian lords sending the mercenaries to die rather than the realms men in my head canon

It's an honor to carry our banner! Just hope to dodge the arrows 😮💨- Ethazor

The consecutive Head bonks at 4:30 have me at the office making a fool of myself. It was so silly
Look at me (TommyBoy) taking out looters, love to see it

Finally got to join the company, even if as a caravan leader, nice!
You get thirty people to follow you, congrats

This really helps my unwind after practice, keep up the good work!
27:53 POV: Me and the boys when our leader says that there are new punching bags
lol!
Uthred the Betrayed is a little close to home, I just sacrificed Uthred in Skyrim for Boethia’s blessing 😅😢
Another 11/10 video, man. I can’t stop watching. I’ve seen a ton of bannerlord play through and I’ve played the game myself and this is fantastic!
I love the mace bonk farming compilation, it's very cathartic 😆

bonk brigade's breakin' bones!
I cant believe Im addicted to this series rbm gameplays hit different
Best series yet!
strat, beer. all i need after work. thank you for the uploads

Man, that AI treated you like nothin but a mercenary, leaving you out there to fight and die unsupported.
It's payback for all the times I've done it to them hahaha
Just found this series last night. Caught up now. Happy to be in the infantry and smithing corps!
Good stuff. Well edited yet again. You guys do great work.
I'll let the missus know, she'll be happy to hear that
Just discovered your channel been binging all the series. Keep them coming love em!

Loving the campaign
My man Theo Cyrus finally joined the battle, lets see if he survives as a shock trooper

Awsome episode
it seems like your parrot is throwing a party in the background 🤣

I'm glad you're enjoying these! Thanks for the support :)
TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES
He is what led me strat initially
hopefully the shock troop will do good this time around
Oof, Dzoni *really* did get screwed by the autoresolve. As I realized when rewatching the troop list and seeing that he's not listed there
Yeah that must have been it - I guess it doesn't show the death until the battle is 100% done.

Wow. That mod for crafting looks like something i must have
That was a fun couple of fights.

No they are just for looks unfortunately :(
Thanks for watching this series, I'm glad you're enjoying it!
4:27 ... ever been so mad you leaned down off your horse to punch a guy?
Woot!
hey strat i have a question, i’ve tried to get addonays troop changer to work but it dosent even appear in my mod list in bannerlord, any tips?
Is it the mod for the correct beta? He has his mods listed for patch 1.1.0 I believe so make sure your beta and mods match up
That poor guy that screamed at 7:52
Questions why I'm not get picked for companions
its hammer time
What is the mod that shows icons above the enemy troops' heads?
I think it's just a setting in the base game - I always turn it off so the battles look much better to watch.
Heartbreak😊
Are there set goals for this chapter? Or campaign as a whole? They might’ve been in the first video but I don’t remember lol sorry
Last few battles are a little chaotic. You are too much focused to have some valuable kills to get the gear 😅
Why is it when I seiging and a friendly army joins to help I lose command of the seige.
Interesting, I've not seen that happen yet. Must be a bug because if you're the one starting the siege, you should remain in control. Unless they changed things??

Ayyyy lesco
woppaaaaaa
where can i get the winged helmet
Jake the Snake woohoo!
if you ever add me, can you just make me have 4 stacks of javlins and no armour? I would love to see how long i'll survive.
Lol!! You're a madman. I already recorded this one, but I might toss that in for a future campaign :)

If Brock Sampson dies I'm unfollowing for lack of realism...
Lol!
hahahha i relaised today i was added
how do you get added to a campaign?
@@Khagan_1 just sey something in coments and eventually you will be add i think
17:01 Technoblade :(
He lives on through our campaign :D
@@StratPlaysHe got me into your videos. I hope he survives the campaign.
Man im really enjoying the crafting of the companions weapons if only they made it so u could make armor too
