Excited to bring you along on a relaxing video with a beautiful summer hike on the Tennessee Rock Trail at Black Rock Mountain State Park, which is the highest state park in Georgia. It was so nice to take a break from the projects and enjoy a little mountain escapade. But don't worry, we'll be back with more remodeling projects soon. Hope you all enjoy.
Howdy Guys!! What a beautiful place to hike! Thankfully, you didn't have the smoke from the Canadian wildfires covering the views. It's been horrible here in NW Ohio. Hope your holiday weekend is simply fabulous!!!!!!!!!! Hugs & tugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much! And we did have a few days of the Canadian wildfire smoke after this video. It was so bad that we couldn't see the long or short range peaks those days. Several t-storms took care of clearing it out though. Have a great holiday as well!
You would love the Sandia mountains in New Mexico! A little under 11,000( 10, 698) in elevation! The Georgia mountains are beautiful, but l love the sculptural look of El Paso , New Mexico, and Arizona. Luv you guys, glad to see you had a great time.
A video of beautiful paradise! The mountains are gorgeous! So green and such views! I rather hike in the mountains than go to the beach any day. You guys hit such a fabulous day. And yes, be careful of roots. I have tripped on a few of them. It is easy to do. I love the pathway and the marked trees. And the Centipede crossing - he was really trailing there. LOL And what a GORGEOUS Lake Burton! One of the most beautiful scenic lakes ever. So glad you guys had some boating fun and Wally got to take a dip. So gorgeous. There is something so charming and special about Georgia that I cannot put my finger on it. I have been hiking and scenic driving through Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, Mississippi, and they are all so gorgeous beyond words. But when I have been in Georgia, there is a unique special beauty and charm of that state's nature that makes me feel warm, comfortable, and happy. Dont know what it is. Loved that you fired up the fire pit. And I have to say once again - your outdoor lighting around your home and yard is just perfectly beautiful. I just love how the lights reach up the trees and also around your gardens. Loved this one, guys. Blessings.
Thanks!! Definitely is something about these mountain views that just keeps us staring and staring at them. They are always changing depending on the day/season. Glad you enjoyed it! Cheers!
Fellas that was a great video, it's always great to see place that I will probably never go through video. You guys did a fabulous job, and that boat ride on the lake was fascinating. Keep up the good work, looking forward to the next video!
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it. It was definitely a fun excursion and different from our usual videos. Sometimes it's good to step away and enjoy the surroundings a bit and relax.
I loved it. Being in the UK means that there is often other people around and cars are everywhere. I can dream of being on my own walking along the trail.
I've said it before... green is my favorite color, especially as presented in nature. While the Blueridge mountains may not be the tallest, I think they are some of the most beautiful.
Lovely video, sounds lots of fun for hiking 🚶♂️ in the woods that beautiful to look around for birds, etc..beware of bears haha..lol 😆 and lovely and beautiful lake I love that! Lots of fun, when you got home, wally are very happy ! 😉👌👍🐕🌲🐞🌷🏞🤟❤️
Those overlooks are spectacular! Love long views like that. The lake looks so relaxing! Great violin/fiddle music that was playing during the video of your drive up, too. Do you know the name of the violinist?
Yes! We couldn't get over how many peaks we could see on that day. At one of the overlooks, you can actually see 3 additional states too (NC, SC, & TN). As for the violinist, I looked it up on our Storyblocks account where we license the music. All it says is Lance Conrad, with a secondary name called Humans Win. It definitely is beautiful.
Hello Todd and Rob ,we love your videos every Sunday, we look forward to them. Just watched your hick at the Georgia State Park video Hike. Love the music you use >love listening to nice music while doing everyday things, It brings peace in our Lives and Home. What is the 1st. song you played on your video. Love this song. Thank you all. Appreciate it.
Hi Stephen, I haven't forgotten about this comment! We switched our music license after this video, so I had trouble tracking down the right song. But, if you're referring to the very first song that's played with the fast-paced beat, it's called Energy Intro and the artist is Danail Draganov. We found it through our old music subscription (Storyblocks). It's awesome to hear that you are enjoying the music that we add to the videos because oftentimes that's half the fun of it all! Music provides such a unique experience with each video because we find that it adds just the right amount of emotion to it all. Thanks for the thoughtful comment and thanks also for tuning in! Cheers! -Rob
Many folks out here in the west don't realize how much of an effect that hiking in high humidity can have on your energy/endurance level. The temp can be fairly mild, but if the humidity is high, it just drains you of strength. Any issues with ticks on the hike? Lyme disease can be so debilitating - remain vigilant... Always enjoy your videos. It is husbands like yourselves (possessing character, integrity and values) that show the rest of the world that there are wonderful and decent gay men out there. You are an inspiration to all...! Blessings, always, from the Pacific Northwest....
Definitely agree, that humidity is tough. We've endured it all our life and sometimes never get used to it. So far, the ticks haven't been bad here, but we're staying vigilant. Thank you for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed the video.
When our pastor's kids were little & did the "Are we there yet?" thing, he'd say, "Yeah...get out!" without slowing the car down. 😂 They knew he was messing w/ them...they didn't really try to get out...
Hi guys. What a wonderful hike you had there. I do a lot of hikes here in Norway myself and on Gran Canaria where I live in the Winter. Why did you not bring your dog with you? Because of ticks? Greetings from Norway
We take Wally on shorter hikes for sure. We had to leave him at home that day because it was so hot and humid and he doesn't know how to slow down without overexerting himself these days. He loves hikes though for sure.
We live in Northern California and one of the benefits, besides the weather, is that we have no mosquitos. As someone who grew up in Minnesota, this is heaven.
That is a beautiful area! Good to hear that they aren't bad there. Growing up in the south, we just learn to do everything we can to thwart them if we're outside during the evening.
@@toddandrobno, I know but at one point Todd said to Rob “Hey Buddy!” Which is not a term of endearment that I would expect from husband - maybe saying it to a young boy. 😂

I adored the musical pieces you chose!!!
very enjoyable , guys!! Thanks for taking us along. I hope you were watchful for ticks!
Glad you enjoyed. And yes, always on the lookout. So far, it's been a relatively quiet tick season.
gorgeous area in Georgia and Lake Burton looks lovely too. Sweet Wally making his appearance.....
I love following husbands. It's always so wholesome, caring and loving. 😍
We agree! Thanks for watching.
Nice relaxing video. Thanks guys! We loved it.
Our pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it.

It’s beautiful there. We’ll have to go one day. We love going to Rock City on Lookout Mountain. You should try it if you’ve never been.
Oh yeah, we have been around Lookout but never hiked it. Thanks for the rec!
Beautifully different than previous videos and I enjoyed every minute of it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I loved it. Being in the UK means that there is often other people around and cars are everywhere. I can dream of being on my own walking along the trail.
Glad that you are able to enjoy a little bit of southeastern US nature from afar.

Indeed. The northern part of the state continues to surprise us with its beauty.
I've said it before... green is my favorite color, especially as presented in nature. While the Blueridge mountains may not be the tallest, I think they are some of the most beautiful.
Green is so vibrant, right? And yep, the Blue Ridge mountains are quite stunning. But we're partial. 😉

Thankfully no mosquitoes on the hike. Definitely have them at the cabin, however.
