*HELP* I've deleted missing external files error because I already have my own different materials/textures that I've changed, but before deleting them everything was going just fine while rendering in the different textures/materials that I have changed.
Now, after deleting these files and whenever I render this message appears: (UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: Preparing ray server... ) I cant render my scene and sometimes 3ds max crashes.
Do I have to return all the files back? Please help I would appreciate it so much.

Hi im still facing an issue im not a regular 3ds max user and recieved the file from a different person the whole model is clay and at begining #ds max asks me to convert the file . Quite confused , the above process didnt help.

hello. I had the same issue. first, u must convert your scene- or change it to his Render setup (Vray, mental ray... you'll know from the convert page.) clay is an easy issue. just change to Default shading. a copy will be automatically created as 'document' format amoung ur models after the conversion. Hope it helps :)

I have seen all the exterior tutorial very usefull got to learn lot of things, but color mapping in vray setting am still confused, what type should we use, dark multiplier & bright multiplier, sub pixel mapping, clamp out, this might sound abnormal but i would like to more about it. Thanks
