What is the Best Skunk Trap? | Skunk Specific Trap | No Spray

The best skunk trap is designed so skunks do not spray inside them.
Skunks don't spray inside traps that are smallish and opaque enough that the skunk can't really see what is going on.

He features a JT Eaton Skunk Trap and a Tuff Trap.

Those green tube traps won’t hold the big skunks. I’ve seen where they go in and trigger it but their tail is still out. They hold the door up with their tail and back out. I think the 30” or longer traps are better

Small ones, but not typically. The Dura Poly Trap can be used for skunks and comes in raccoon size

Conceding that you forgot more about trapping than I will learn . The Game Warden gave this tip. If there is a Skunk in your raccoon trap , just cover it with a heavy dark cloth . Pick it up then set it in a deep creek .
