Love these videos. I have myeloma and this is the most understandable presentation I have ever seen and I've been looking at info for 10+ years. Thanks!
Thank you for making this video and explaining everything in a simple and understandable way. This has helped me having a better understanding for what happened to my father 18 years ago. He was diagnosed with a late stage MM at the age of 46 yo and passed away 2 years later. Watching this reminds me when me and my dad were listening to a clinic doctor explaining about the electrophoresis result and showed us the high spike of gamma globulin in the chart. Now I do understand what were those means. Thanks so much.
really helpful keep posting this out , really helps me with the med school.u maynt get millions of views but u're helping out all of those who watch be it a few or many, and only we medicos know how much difference these things makes
Hey, I am a 4th year biomedical major, and I always struggle with the complex and variable terminology that is so common in the medical field. This has proven to be a big learning barrier while reading most of my textbooks. All the synonymous and/or subtly different terms describing various systems confuse me to no end. I recently discovered your channel and am loving it! I just wanted to say thank you for posting this material and describing everything in a comprehensive, concise, and simplified manner. The significance of this type of clear cut teaching style is drastically under appreciated. Please keep up the good work!
Thanks a ton, dear. I really appreciate it! Also, I have one-on-one mentorship courses, to help you out if you’re interested. Thanks again! Good luck with your career!
Currently being evaluated for plasma cell myeloma and myelodysplastic syndrome. My recent bone marrow biopsy was poorly done.No Bone Marrow was retrieved, yet blood was. I was left with charlie horse pain, paralysis of the leg on left side. I immediately began having whole body shaking and coldness after the procedure.Due to poor medical care, poor medical insurance, ping ponging to various providers due to having apathetic, lazy, incompetent, neglectful providers who don't listen, the matter has led to stagnation, abandonment of care, delay of care, delay in accurate diagnosis, misdiagnosis and a more than likely poor prognosis....
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis you are welcome The channel would help in my remaining journey through Med school. 😀😀😀 For now, I just need to pass my second professional exam in few weeks time 😥😥😥

Great question...I don't know a specific reason, but I think cancer proliferation crowds out other lines of proliferation...You can read this for more info www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2310279
Dude its his humour and besides that i also study in Medical are as Biomedical Scientist so i know how medicine can be freaking nerve racking because sometimes unecessary complicated and so much synonyms etc. I love the way he teaches because its unique and shows he knows much but struggles or struggled as same as we do so just very human and normal.
