Except for the destruction, this big geological event has some positive aspect it seems to me. The trip by boat even thou it requires new organization, is probably faster and less dangerous than by the road. And people seem to enjoy the wide expanse of water, which is so beautiful surrounded by the snowy mountains, and the change in their usual routine. I'm not sure this lake should disappear entirely.

The problem is that this dam is going to break and the consequences will be absolutely devastating for the region.
