i had a series 0,2 and 4 and now i upgraded to the stainless steel graphite with the black braided loop and i have to admit that it looks really 🤩 stunning
When you have to charge it every day, sleep tracking is pretty useless. I’ve also heard no one talk about not being able to install watchOS 7 on old Series 3 watches. I’ve seen two in my circle of friends (including mine) that didn’t have enough memory to install the update. Even when everything was removed from the watch.
I talked about it 🥺😅 So yeah, I could only update my Series 3 by resetting my watch, which is very frustrating. Upgraded to the SE now though. The battery life of the SE is 2 days, while my Series 3 after two years still lasts 1.5 days, so I always track my sleep.
Walter Riggs it has better charging speeds on the new one and series 3 doesn't have 64 bit vs the 4,5,6 so your software is going to falter for that reason
I charge mine for about an hour in the evening after I’ve closed my rings, but before I go to bed. 24 hours of use, with always on display, includes 1 , 70-minute workout, regular day-to-day use, and usually an evening walk. Battery is typically around 40% when I pop it on to the charger, so it’s been working fine for me.
Max. 2 days (without always on display). I think sport watches last longer, although the Apple Watch does more than fitness tracking. But yeah if very long battery life is a #1 priority for you, Apple Watch isn’t the one for you.
To be honest if you need to wear your smartwatch for straight 3 days or more without being near a charger should not need a smart watch or a smartphone just a regular watch would be better
The competitors like Garmin can have 48days, Samsung can have 7days. But what they didnt tell is most features are turned off. Those features can't be turned off in apple watches. When all features are at its best, The Garmin and Samsung battery last 10hrs only to 14hrs. Apple watch is 14-18hrs. For not heavy users, some apple watch users have 2-3 days battery with AOD off. plus you sleep and shower everyday or eat etc, you can charge the watch effortlessly without thinking much esp with charging dock and together with your iPhone. If feautures are off and no great apps just to have days or weeks of battery life, then it is not SMART watch....just a watch with some kind of very little stuff in smartphones.
@@samuelmanny6231 what do you call a smartphone that can’t do the same thing last longer then 2 days of usages do then compare to a tiny watch you asking too much technology isn’t magic you have find solutions to a problem to be able to make it better you just throw money at problems the laws of physics will not allow

I repaired my zenwatch forgot how mutch less drepesive og wear os was, so....just to say lol The iwatch os look very nice, still dont like the bubble cloud but it reminds me of the first gear s etc was kind of smooth with the fitness parts Still the se with no always on screen kind of suck if you like or need it
I have never had problem to measure SpO2. Never! I don’t understand why people can’t take measurements! I am very happy with the Watch 6 and the sensors.
Myth Doge I am happy you asked. I am an expert in air quality and pollution, I believe the more sensors we have the merrier, as an expert I do statistical analysis on air quality (AQ) data and I want to merge SpO2/heart rate data with AQ data and create an impact index. That way I can see my health evolution and the impact I have suffered when AQ is poor.
Sotirios P. Okay and how long is your study going to be? There are many studies that agree with that hypothesis already. Why repeat it with a sensor that is subpar compared to the gold standard - pulse oximetry? I’m a physician btw.
Myth Doge essentially they are the same sensors more or less, the difference is that Apple had to place the sensor on the wrist. On the wrist is more comfortable to sleep with but based on the typical pulse oximeter, light doesn’t reflect the same way as on a figure which many “bloggers” argue that is less accurate. In my opinion, Apple decided not to validate the sensor through regulatory bodies because it takes a lot of time and effort and not all countries around the globe have the same standards. I don’t believe Apple would have released a less accurate sensor. A month ago the ECG sensor became available in Israel after two years!
good review. some "apple accusations" that usually feel like a stretch, exaggeration: apple playing catch-up user unfriendly policy 2:08 apple backtracking 2:08 apple copied ... seen a couple of apple watch reviews where fitbit and samsung sleep tracking is praised. what are the odds if apple had the exact same thing, same people would just complain about how it is not perfect.
That's what they pay u to say "more of a health device".. It's so unreliable and inaccurate it's basically useless. The pulsoxymeter and the ECG functions are bull.. Take it from a doctor, if u have a SpO2 of around 92-93 % its usually pathologic, you should feel some kind of shortness of breath or fatigue after a light effort and needs to be attended to by a doctor. But if you see this measurement on your watch.. You would be actually fine and have no problems.. Those devices are trying to take over something they can't compete with. The FCC along with the medical authorities should look into such claims and such false advertising (even though they try their best to trick people and still be safe legally). Pathetic. Anyhow I don't think the government could do anything about it, governments don't have power anymore, big companies are controlling everything.
When i still had a gear s sonetimes i smoked weed and it couldnt read my heartbeat even if i placed it straight up my vains, sooo for the rest i lived very healty then and always had a 76 heartbeat then or something like that...so nothing wrong with that and the fact i dont have a heartbeat when smoking weed sometimes says enough😂 1 tine a week a was hartbeatless....
YES! from one doc to another: thank you. I’ve been saying something similar on these watch reviews. I hated the moment when she said that her spo2 dropped to 95 on a day when she hadn’t had food for some time. These reviewers are just as guilty as Apple for spreading this crap.
@@myth3516 funny thing is reviewers said about the zenwatch back in the days the heartreading was off the chart....only thing they needed to do is keep their fingers on it till its done reading and it works fine.....😂
I don't understand the hype in this product at all. It doesn't present any real utility, there's only this feeling of "having a new tech toy", which erodes real quick. The public is being bombarded by reviews of Apple watch 6 and SE, but it's just boring. No new tech gadget brings the excitement of the old iPhone or iPad, but the presentation is still the same. It's just lame now.
Hmm... I love answering such questions. Yeah, I agree smart watches generally are not necessities. I’ll say it in simple words, it is a matter of more convenience. I just love to be able to quickly reply to simple notifications, and calls (when appropriate) by the watch. I love how being able to be not distracted by my phone even I’m connected to it. The fitness things, I’m a fan of calories tracking. I hate entering every exercise I do manually and estimating how long I trained and at how much intensity. The watch is a very convenient solution to me. Just start the workout, the burned calories synced. The calories burned through the day also synced. Having some useful complications to take a quick glance to see them. Again not a necessary device, but yeah it is interesting and is a good investment for me. Ah I forgot to lifesaving health features: the fall detection, and the FDA-approved ECG. Isn’t this very amazing and marvelous how a tiny piece on your wrist can do this?
@@hlmep1439 The only convenience I found in Apple Watch is the world time, and surprisingly that function is not available in most watches. However, I cannot see the use in paying a couple of hundreds for a newer watch. I'm still using gen 1 and it still does the job. The battery is surprisingly good as well. I think I wouldn't pay more than USD 50 for another watch.
@@rehaesen8374 well, that’s not the only convenience that only existed there as you stated. This is a subjective judgment. There are many conveniences that you might not used as I indicated. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t say that 399$ is a very fair price. I’m saying that there are things I and others are interested in. I appreciate how many people, like you, will find the watch useless, which is reasonable. Like I find upgrading from iPhone X to iPhone 12 is useless. Does it mean that iPhone 12 is useless? No! That’s my own usage which makes me so. Surely, there are objectively functional differences, but they don’t matter to me. Also, there are functionally insignificant differences, which are there just to say hey this is a new one.
i had a series 0,2 and 4 and now i upgraded to the stainless steel graphite with the black braided loop and i have to admit that it looks really 🤩 stunning
There have been third party automatic sleep trackers on Apple Watch for years now that measures sleep in detail with use of the heart rate censor
I’ve been using auto sleep for 3 years and it’s the best!
Very very nice video! I like apple watches where i can get one for cheap?

Why do we need it
Hand washing up doesn’t work
Do you have a series 3? It's only supported for s4 and above.
i mean if you’re going to by a daily watch that isn’t smart around the same price range why not just get the apple watch! has tech and is useful!
Why dont they have a pedometer to measure the distance covered. A simple easy program available freely on much cheaper watches!
