Yes this was really impressive at the time but I won't call it peak, while Cold Steel started going full 3D and animation were stiff and janky, fight between Victor and McBurn was cool, then they improved it with Rean Vs fake Arios in Reveire, peak would be Shizune vs Kasim in Kuro 2.
Through your videos I've heard some of the japanee voice cast and it's really just solidified how much Estelle's english va absolutely nailed her role, it doesn't seem like the original fits her at all to me but that's probably just a cultural difference. Loewe sounds horrible though who greenlight that role 😭😭😭😭
@@Designated_loser For what it's worth, Hikaru Midorikawa was going for a deeper voice too (which is a different register than his usual style), so Travis Willingham wasn't a complete miscast if you consider just matching for volume; there simply wasn't much material for him to work with outside of battles. Justin Doran, the voice actor for the anime adaptation of Sky, got a lot more lines than Willingham and he sounds pretty good as Loewe too. I wonder what it would have been like if they had been able to get him to reprise the role. He might have been a better fit.
However even on EASY mode his s crafts CAN 1 shot the party and over HALF of the time he starts the BATTLE with it before you get even 1 turn so Kevin MUST S break Grail Sphere even on Easy mode immediately.
Yes on easy mode his S crafts CAN hit for 10,000 damage and they hit the ENTIRE party at once and 1 of them causes the freeze status the other FAINTS the entire party 100% of the time If you don't null the status effects OR its damage.
@@veghesther3204It's not nearly as bad as you make it seem. Both his S-crafts have a 50% chance to cause a status effect, regardless of difficulty. Walter has a 100% stun on his, but not Loewe. Furthermore, I hardly believe Loewe's S-craft OHKOs your party. Even with non optimal equipment on easy. I'm currently on NG nightmare against the guy and he barely OHKOs my party... and their equipment is one that raises SPD as opposed to defense. I know he's a tough fight, but please don't make stuff up

I'd like to clarify I meant Loewe sounds abhorrent in the english cast
It's probably cultural since JP Estelle suits her fine for me. Also she didn't have EN voices in cutscenes in Sky so idk about how good that is
