If you loaded me in a Delorean in 1985/1986 and said we’re going to 2020 to see David Lee Roth and we saw this, I’d swear I was at the deepest level of hell in Dante’s Inferno.

The band is great...but the background vocals are samples from the actual original recordings. Even some of Dave's lead vocals here are prerecorded tracks which he sings along to because of his loss of vocal range. If you look closely you will see Michael Anthony is not on the stage but his voice is all over this performance.
If this was Dave's last show, it's really a great way to end it. While he's still looking and sounding good. As far as how good Dave sounds live. Still hitting those high kicks and seems happy to be there. DLR has always been my favorite rock star.
This guy and Van Halen changed the world…..and you didn’t. And even at 67 years old has more talent in his pinkie than any of you far younger naysayers by a mile. God bless David, thanks for 5 decades of entertainment.
@@bretzajac9068 Classic VH was a culture changing band. An entire generation of hard rock after their debut was an attempt to imitate Van Halen. So yeah, they did change music as we know it.
If your will is to stay young you can do way better physically and mentally than where he appears in this vdo. Theres an 83 yr/o man at my gym that has the time to spend 3 hours a day training whatever days of the week he wishes. I see him no less than 4 days a week mostly 5. I've trained there the past 20 years and see him at other gyms as well. Once per month he tests himself taking stats and runs a 5k, bikes 10k and works out 3 hours in the gym. My point is that genes have a lot to do with it, but your will to be fit may be more than mr. Roths.

It's kinda fitting that rock-n-roll has become a cringy lounge act and oldies show worthy of a PBS fundraising special. We're only in it for the money, indeed.
Yep, there's a few layers of recorded vocals and at around 1:50 there's a real mess going on with him singing different lyrics than what's recorded and sticking his tongue out while the recording is playing. It's pretty pathetic but whatever, I'm sure he's getting paid enough just for showing up.
@@jesse2d they actually played my freshman high school dance. Saw them for two years Sundays and Thursdays for 99 cents in Hollywood when i was a kid. He was cool then.

He tried to pickup the girl I was with right in front of me. Invited her back to his hotel but she refused. He kept going to the washroom every 10 minutes to do another bump of coke coming out with white powder all over his nose.
@@jesse2d a funny story when me and a friend ran into dave in the bathroom a few years b4 they made it on a 99 cent night my friend said "you guys are great", and dave said, "what the hell would you know". Kind of a dick but we thought he was so cool. Lol. 😆

This was one of his better numbers. I hate to be negative, but he mostly looked kind of tired. You can't stay young forever.

I know someone who saw DLR on this recent KISS Tour and they said he was God Awful !
