Everyone makes mistakes and so I did...
Never mix two different types of epoxy without knowing if they are working together!!
Anyways... Building this rustic dining table with this rusty tool epoxy inlay was very fun. Next time it's going to be perfect!! :-)

I think the clear finish would have had a nice appearance to it but I will say the finish you ended up with looks way better. It gives it an old photo type of look to it. Awesome work! I can’t wait to have a workshop one day to be able to make awesome creations such as these!

Great project, part of the fun is the creative experience even though there are unexpected outcomes- beautiful my friend! I’ve seen some use a torch on the surface of drying epoxy to minimize bubbles and to help it be more fluid. Enjoy

The concept is fantastic mate. However I think because you put so many tools on the table, a lighter background for it would have looked better. I get that you wanted to make it look rustic but it just looks brown. The overall look would be better with a lighter shade of brown around the tools or a lighter background by polishing the metal sheet

da hast du echt das Beste aus der Situation gemacht und es sieht auch noch gut aus. Eine gemütlich rustikale Ecke in Habus Inn.
Ich mag es, wenn Fehler gezeigt werden und warum sie entstanden. Evtl. hat man selbst mal soch ein Vorhaben und da ist die Info goldwert.
