Great vid as always. I had passed up on this animated Kirby figure because I had a custom self-portrait of Jack Kirby action figure made some years ago with cigars, an ezell, pencils, and miniature comics and surrounded him with both the Marvel and DC action figures ranging from the F4, Avengers, 2001 Space Odyssey, to Darkseid, the New Gods, Kamondi, and more. But now you have me rethinking that decision to pass the neca Kirby figure up. Will have to make a trip to Target 🤞🙏🏽 I will provide a hunt update.
If I could only collect one property, it would have to be GI Joe Classified. DC is a close second. Great video! Thanks!

Kirby Hunt Update: I only have one Target in my and unfortunately, no Jack Kirby. I found it strange that all toy department sales people acted like they had never heard of or knew about NECA or TMNT action figures and had to
look it up in their system. Needless to say, they didn’t have Kirby. So today, I was going to take the 1hr plus drive to another Target but decided to checkout the secondary market and purchased it.
You can always look for it on the target website...and you can also look at the one that's an hour away online. Hope you didn't have to spend to much to get him on the secondary.
@@PlasticAddictI checked the other the surrounding city Target websites and the figure was not listed in any of the search results. I don’t know what Target price of this figure to compare it to what I paid on the secondary market, which was more. But the value of any figure is the value I place on it. (within reason).
@@rodgerdodger3429 at target it is 34.00 plus tax of course...but long as you happy at the end of the day is what matters but this haul-o-thon will be running all week next week...so the restock will happen...💯
@@PlasticAddictI paid roughly about $20 more (free shipping) than the Target price, which could have almost covered the cost for 2 of figures. Thanks again Plastic.
There was a time I'd have said Transformers, but now that I've gotten what I consider the definitive versions of a lot of the characters, the hunt for them isn't as fun. Like I picked up the Gigapower Dinobots when they were new, so the new SS figures, while awesome, just don't wow me as they might have before.
Right now, if I take a look at what I'm buying, it's all about Four Horsemen figures and adjacent lines, filling up the fantasy and science fiction shelves with Elves and Aliens. It's a lot of fun mixing them in with all the Masters of the Universe stuff coming out, or the indie Kickstarters like AWOK.
However, if I was asked to stick to ONE IP? I'd have to go with G.I. Joe Classified figures. I think of everything I buy, it's just the stuff that brings me the most joy. Recently opened up the HISS Tank and my god what a set. I think it's the best thing I've ever bought quite frankly.
Yeah im getting the same way with bots...I don't go premium with my bots so I'm all chug...I collect to many lines to spend that much on bots, but after these dino bots I'll be good. You hit the nail on the head with that HISS tho, I was amazed at how fun that thing is‼️ 💥💯

@PlasticAddict my man , I was living in sf since 1980 when our restaurant in Berkley came burned down. We almost had the whole block on telegraph. Already a huge ultraman fan when Gundam came out. I was hunting all kinds of things in China town. I had Chinese friends that went back to China with the stuff they worked out infan club. Called g- systems. The original garage Gundam kit. A kit from that time cost$$$ thousands. Bandai was only putting out risky crap but those g fans and me saw that potential. Everything we enjoy in the collective collecting community arose from China town.😀
If I had to pick it would be Marvel, but I swear GI Joe Classified would be one call away.
I too stay in my wheel house of collection. Now i only collected the Ronin Mickey… but i don’t do a lot of the turtle figures. But, i am into Joes and of course Legends and DC McFarlane line figures and SHFiguarts and Starwars and WWE Ultimates.
Yeah we collect mostly the same stuff...but I need to cut back on alot of lines, but DC isn't going anywhere 💯👊🏿😎
I have no idea what one property I would collect, if I could only choose one. It would be either Marvel or DC though. I don't love them as much as other properties, but I like them enough that I would still enjoy collecting my favourite characters, and there'd be a lot of variety. All kinds of figures from high-end to low-end, and everything inbetween. 😄 Those are properties I know I will always have new releases to look forward to. 😄

Yeah I always try to stay to my collection. I mainly will just drop stuff I'm no longer collecting unless they drop something I've been waiting for. I been done with Marvel Legends after I collected all of the 90s X-Men. But I had to get the new Angel figure that just dropped.
Yeah that new angel figure is dope but I doubt i have room for him with archangel 🤦🏾♂️

One of my goals for my collection is the middle display in my collection to have all the creators and like their office spaces Stan Lee, jack kirby, George Lucas, and McFarland which are all coming out or will be out this year. I think it would look awesome.
