Got caught in this storm as it was passing through Atwater. I couldn’t see any physical tornado because of it being dark but based on the rain going sideways and the way the trees were bending like bendy straws I’d bet money that there was one on the ground!
I would bet it was a touch down of a weak one that was strong enough to throw down some trees. I was parked out at Caseys when that thing hit. The warning sounded on the phone a minute before the sirens did.
The structure on that cell was amazing & almost always lit up by constant lightning!!!!
Seen half dollar to golf ball size hail in Atwater last night from this storm
I was hiding from it under the awning at Caseys until it passed. That stuff looked brutal.

I am a level 7-B tornado hunter. My advice is to not hunt twisters in the nighttime. Please leave that for extreme experts like me. Thank you
