I've watched all of your videos on house makeovers and storage etc and you've given me so many ideas and tips! Brilliant channel Reynard, seriously underrated 🙂
I love colors so much but I could never balance them. This is, by far, my favorite project of yours - it brings me joy, comfort, authenticity and it looks like the perfect spot for both working and relaxing after work. Truly amazing! I wish to have a space like that someday ❤️
What I like the most is the overall color palette. Combined with the abundant natural light, it provides a very warm and pleasant feeling to look at. It shows that it's a very welcoming environment. Recently, I've been trying to make my living room look a bit brighter. I changed the colors of the walls and added an Arco lamp from Manhattan Home Design to reinforce the task-based lighting. I've been trying to choose the right rug, without much success. Nice tour! :)
Very nice job Ray! What your series has taught me is that even though color is nice to have, I have found out that I love the monochromatic theme of creams, taupes, white and small touches of black. Thank you so much for teaching me about what I really love as color choices can be so overwhelming!
I’m not a big fan of colorful spaces, but I LOVED the final result of this project. Everything looks so cohesive, seamless and serene. Congrats on your amazing work!
Lovely job, but my only thought was when you took the doors off the front of the cabinet, we were left with the cheap backing board behind the shelves. Instead of wasting the woodgrain of the doors that were removed, why not instead take the cheap back board off and replace with removed doors on the back to create a more solid woodgrain backing board? Painted of course. It would just make the whole unit look a bit more solid and expensive and then the doors wouldn't be wasted.
HI Reynard, Really enjoy your videos! Curious to know what is the color of the tiles used on floor throughout the apartment? What is the reference number for these tiles color? Thanks!
Had a nice hygge moment when I got to watch this and sip my coffee. As always, I look forward to learning what you have in store with this wonderfully-named series👍🏼
6:14 Plants need light! I think designers or Wanna-Be Designers should consider the needs of plants too and to me they are design errors! If you don't want to replace your dead plants frequently, place them near the windows or at least get grow lights! Or get plastic plants tbh The jade plant in (!) the shelf will die soon. The reasons are insuficient light and in thes place it's easy to forget about it. The Ficus tree needs lots of light! After a couple of weeks or months it will start to lose bottom leaves, the new leaves will be tiny and ugly.
In what world is a pale green, beiges, white and wood tones “bold and colourful”? Has the design world indulged so much in 50 shades of white and beiges that a slight variation is “bold and beautiful”? I see a few colourful accessories and one pale green couch.
God I really love these videos and your explanations are super helpful ! Thanks😀❤ What if we wanna use a persian rug that has different light colors in it?
Consider picking out one of the colours in the Persian rug to use as an accent colour in your decor such as vases and cushions to create some cohesion.
At 6:23 you show the IVAR cabinets with legs, but afterwards you show them without legs. Which do you think is better and did you get the legs from IKEA (if so how much did they cost)? I'm wondering if you think that having this shelving along a long wall (multiple units) would be too overwhelming?
Love your videos, your style of interior decor but please don't mind me saying that many times it feels repetitive e.g. green bedding with oak wood furniture, white long curtains.. We Indians love colors in our house, it would be great if you could do a video where you talk about colorful curtains, dark furniture, colorful rugs etc 😊
Yes, the goal here is simply to make the space more cohesive and deal with the lighting problem. Layout is already perfect for the client so we sticked with that.
@@reynardlowell i see. but it was too simple and almost the exact as earlier. did not feel a bit different even after the changes. this is the first video of yours I felt this way to be frank. good work though.

I know right! Had to crawl on the ground to capture the shot but worth it :D
@@reynardlowell Hehe your efforts are appreciated 🙏
It looks beautiful creating color in this apartment. Great concept.
Really nice to see how a coloured couch can still look cohesive with a space!

I love that the art is now the focal!
Your clients are pretty good at designing a living space and then you enter into their home and make it even better! Nice work!
It looks so fun yet so cohesive and calm at the same time! 🌈🪴⚡️😌

Très élégant ! 👍🏻
At 06:20, where can we find that rainbow rings of Saturn art print?

1st time viewer. Great Job on house/video. How old is the cat? Senior? This space you designed inspires me. You have a great eye for things.
What tv console are you using and what wall for paint
Hi Reynard! I love all of your work~and I’m wondering if you can do work remotely?
i need to kno where those throw pillows are from!
How do you hide the wires behind the tv?
Does anyone know, where to get this round colourful rug from under the sofa table?
Awesome

Hurts my eyes coating beautiful wood with colour.. 😭
Rest looks good though.. ☆
That wood did not look premium though
where can I get this TV Unit?
hmm this time it felt as if it is the same as earlier. a few changes here and there, but still the same.
I have to agree, the curtains / drapery was a lovely touch but the differences are very minor overall

Hi Reynard, great job! Can I please ask how the curtains were added? I am in a rented space and I can't find a way to add sheer curtains. Any ideas?
supper
The cat obviously needs exercise 😀
New sub ! Liked 🚀👍🙏🙏
I want some of what you are smoking 💨🤪
No legs under the Ivar?
he must got a gf for this colorful switch
your cat looks unsure.
Between the music is annoying
Your idea of "art" is lacking.
Great use of color 🙌
