Different Way to Pull Clutch on Slow U-Turns | Motorcycle Training

- The other day, I was at a McDonald's parking lot, and saw a lady on motorcycle trying to do a slow speed u-turn. She was having a very hard time, wobbling the handlebar and duck walking. As motorcycle riders, we all know that control of the friction zone is crucial. But it dawned on me, that if she pulled the clutch a different way, she might have better control of the handbar.
Check out this short video, and let me know what you guys think. Do you have a different and special way of pulling the clutch lever to enter the friction zone? Specially if you are trying to do a slow u-turn on a tight spot, where there is just not enough space for you lean the bike? Share your thoughts, and experiences. Let's all learn together. Now I have to check out some of your other videos - my girlfriend just bought her first bike -Rebel 300 - and I’m teaching her how to do u-turns . For me coming from an ADV/naked bikes the cruiser is so different, and this one’s really low so I’ll have to really get her to pay attention to the zone along with good rear brake technique.
