Sometimes I hear this guy play in person, and It’s better than any concert I’ve ever been to. It blows my mind every time when Ramsay and his band is absolutely rocking the crowd. The women are dancing as hard as they can, in their best dress with their hair so nice. And the place is swaying because the party is so real and genuine. And nobody fights here, everybody is so happy they found old Austin again for a moment. And we all appreciate what you have done for South Austin Ramsay Midwood.
I come to find if songs I enjoy have videos to go with them, and when I find this one, very well done, but sad to see many haven't seen this video, again as its very well done. well hell I enjoy it
I flew from Nashville to Austin, TX so I could see him this past weekend at Sam's Town Point. I was able to shake his hand and thank him for his music. He's laid back, very kind, and a master of his craft.
Spinnin' on this rock I'm looking for a clock I hope I don't get fired From my job at the dock But if I get fired You know that I'm so tired I sign that paper And I'll gladly retire... Then I'll have some fun I'll go and grab my big ol' gun I shoot at my friends And I'll watch them run... I won't shoot any Of them in the head I'd hate to see any Of my good friends dead Well maybe one or two I wouldn't mind Shootin' in shoulder or Shootin' in the spine Then I'd go to church And feel me up a nurse And dream about the lady And the alligator purse... My wife left me so long ago She took my good sense And she took all my dough Now I live alone They cut off my phone I hardly go outside cause I'm accidentally prone I'm gonna get Everything right Im gonna get mine Before my heart attack And then I'll win the lotto Get me two big bags of money Everyone will know That my jokes was funny Spinnin' on this rock I'm looking for a clock I hope I don't get fired From my job at the dock But if I get fired I'm so tired I sign that paper And I'll gladly retire... I ain't bitter But things could be better I live my life In a mohair sweater Then I'd be so warm I wouldn't shiver in a storm I'd finally find a fashion To fit my form And that's all I got to say I done my talkin' for today But when you walk around This lonely old town See an old man and He looks down Just remember he is you You don't know his name And he don't know you... I'm spinnin' on this rock I'm looking for a clock I hope I don't get fired From my job at the dock If I get fired I'm so tired I sign that paper And I'll gladly retire...
This guy should be way more well known

The older I get, the more this clip looks like a documentary about my life.
I'm with ya!
“Everyone will know that my jokes was funny”. Dude, this is the funniest song I’ve ever heard.
One of the greatest songs ever written and played. Just seeing the video for the first time today, love it even more now
After all we are just spinnin on a rock
Ramsay is criminally underrated. First saw him around 2004 or so opening for the Gourds. Very personable after the show also as were the Gourds.
This dude is "the dude".
best song and video i seen in a long bit
This ole dude is good at it.
Just discovered him, holy shit, love his music, just heard at least 50 tunes, not a bad one in the lot
Thank you so much for this

I came to Austin and made sure Sam’s Town Point on Saturday night was on my list. Ramsay is the absolute best.
Loved the shot of the dope in the boat. If I was casting Trailer Park boys, I’d be calling this guy.
RM: you are the Man. Saludos from Uruguay

Keeping loopers at bay is like preventing glaucoma.
Ramsay could teach Brett Michaels and Vince Neil how to age gracefully
Don't threaten me with a good time
@@farmwire thank you so much for your music
😎
Spinnin' on this rock
I'm looking for a clock
I hope I don't get fired
From my job at the dock
But if I get fired
You know that I'm so tired
I sign that paper
And I'll gladly retire...
Then I'll have some fun
I'll go and grab my big ol' gun
I shoot at my friends
And I'll watch them run...
I won't shoot any
Of them in the head
I'd hate to see any
Of my good friends dead
Well maybe one or two
I wouldn't mind
Shootin' in shoulder or
Shootin' in the spine
Then I'd go to church
And feel me up a nurse
And dream about the lady
And the alligator purse...
My wife left me so long ago
She took my good sense
And she took all my dough
Now I live alone
They cut off my phone
I hardly go outside cause
I'm accidentally prone
I'm gonna get
Everything right
Im gonna get mine
Before my heart attack
And then I'll win the lotto
Get me two big bags of money
Everyone will know
That my jokes was funny
Spinnin' on this rock
I'm looking for a clock
I hope I don't get fired
From my job at the dock
But if I get fired
I'm so tired
I sign that paper
And I'll gladly retire...
I ain't bitter
But things could be better
I live my life
In a mohair sweater
Then I'd be so warm
I wouldn't shiver in a storm
I'd finally find a fashion
To fit my form
And that's all I got to say
I done my talkin' for today
But when you walk around
This lonely old town
See an old man and
He looks down
Just remember he is you
You don't know his name
And he don't know you...
I'm spinnin' on this rock
I'm looking for a clock
I hope I don't get fired
From my job at the dock
If I get fired
I'm so tired
I sign that paper
And I'll gladly retire...
Accidentally poor lol.
I’m at least 5k of these views. Ramsay on repeat when I’m truck driving and while I’m home playing NASCAR heat.
This is my favorite song: End of transmission:
