"I knew I didn't like that wall." Okay, but can we respect Maud's craftsmanship? She didn't just throw up some studs and drywall, she lath-and-plastered that bitch. I mean, damn. Also, I don't think I noticed before how many _Speed_ actors were on this show, but it makes sense in a way; Joss Whedon did actually write a lot of _Speed._
Angel can go around in daytime thanks to the sewers we saw him took several times already ! The ones that go just under his place too ;) And for the invitation thing ! It works with homes, places peoples live in ! Not a school or a police station... He can enter without invitations !
I remember when first watching episode 5 thinking "my name is Cordelia, I was in 3 seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I'm used to seeing things like this." Next thought Suraj, I'm not sure why people would be angry with watching you......react to a video. One of the reasons why I watch these reaction videos is to see how far/close everybody's guesses are to what the storyline might be, I love your content.
Yeah, that's gonna be some running themes with the first 2 seasons of Angel, Cordy's wacky ghost roommate, and Kate's dad sucking balls. Like he really is awful. Every time I rewatch this show, he catches me by surprise how much of a shit dad he is to Kate.
Gotta love Denis in this show. Rm w/a Vu ( the tilte of course refers to the old classified adverts in the papers years ago to rent out flats ) was a funny and interesting episode in some ways shadowing BTVS S4 episode Living Conditions, with Angel's carefree bachelor pad being invaded by Cordelia causing disruption similar to Buffy and Kathy in Living Conditions. We know that the house Cordelia takes has to have something wrong with it as its so cheap and available. Denis the person who the evil mother walled up and murdered becomes Cordelia's ghostly flatmate. Cordelia facing down the evil mother is a great scene, and Denis and her have the perfect relationship. Some great one liners and comedy again here as well in this episode.
Guys the show has stated Angel gets around during the day by sewer(they say it in episode 3 I think), also he as a car so Doyle could drive him places if he wants. Spike has been show driving during the day before. Also season 1 isn't bad it just takes awhile to find it's footing,(like Buffy did) some the the most loved episodes of the series are in season 1.
Finally someone mad by Cordelia's action on Angel appartment and not just found it funny. The episode is so cool. The next chapter is silly but you have to admire David Bireanaz acting he can be so funny and be cool at the same time. If you note it the buffyverse has simple a lot of problem with fathers and how they were never there and ignore you or treat you bad and never aknowleadge your efforts.
So Pat acts like a tough guy,... yet can be sent running by a cheap Halloween mask. So any potential criminals can rob him just by holding up a drawing of stickman with horns and Pat will hand over everything !!
Sense And Sensitivity One of the weaker episodes of S1 I think. An interesting take however on the relationship between Kate and her father, and how children, when they get older, always are seeking the approval and love of their parents which isn't sometimes reciprocated. This episodes shows how psychologically damaged Kate was with the relationship with her father. As usual some great comedy moments between the three, which is a constant through S1.
1x05 Suraj "What's his name again?" The whole fanbase groans and has issues with Suraj at this point. 🤣 Don't compare Doyle to Xander. Personality-wise they are polar opposites. Angel feeling his forehead after Doyle forehead jealousy joke was the true priceless (credit card commercial) moment. The writers stated this episode this episode was incredibly hard to break. How many ghosts and where and the reasons they were they was a complication even before the script was written. Sewers and tunnels from building to building are a thing they have talked about before in the Buffyverse. 1x06 "Please himself" put an image in my head I didn't want about Angel and David Boreanaz. I was waiting for their reaction to Herb Saunders. Guessing and saying those guesses is one thing. Knowing and spoiling is an entirely different matter. Cordelia's right about her drinking motion (that Doyle interprets as thumb sucking). That is how a lot of the sensitivity comes across for the humor of the episode when that's not what sensitivity actually is. Angel killing his parents has been a fact for a long time. Perhaps this is the first official mention of eating them (I can't recall off the top of my head), but it shouldn't be a surprise as Angel's a vampire. "What we get is what we get" is how its been from the beginning. It can be humorous, dramatic, horror, or any combination there-in etc. The theme of this episode was good, but its lace-ed under ridiculous comedy. I love that about The Buffyverse. Angel only goes to S5, unless you read the comics as well. I never understood people saying AtS S1 is bad. I at least understand it when people say it about the budget and the outdated-ness of BtVS S1, but I don't understand saying it about AtS S1.
Cause he only got half a season, if he had multiple seasons there would've been plenty of cringe moments, plus the original plan was to bring him back in the end as a big bad so he would've ended up being worse than Xander, Xander is a character with alot of flaws but he gets entirely too much hate from the community, y'all be acting like moody 12 year olds
Would you share the apartment with Dennis if he was your roommate?
Yup!
I already have a pervert roommate. I don't need one that is an invisible version of him. 😜
Absofrickin'lutely~
The monster anime
@@JoshuaMartian-go3tm Dennis isn’t a perv. He’s the unsung hero of the series.
That ghost was beginning to doubt Cordelia's commitment to Sparkle Motion.

"What if he's just a therapist?" made me laugh so hard
An evil talking stick is an amazing concept to run with.
Angel can go around in daytime thanks to the sewers we saw him took several times already ! The ones that go just under his place too ;)

Dennis is best ghost
I'm starting to realize that David Boreanaz' character Booth in Bones is exactly the mid point between Angel and Sensitive Angel
Kate's dad responds as a noir character would, because this show has noir as its sub-genre like Buffy has teen drama.
Appropriate since he was in the brilliant Neo-noir film "L.A Confidential" in 1997.
The Phantom Dennis is a Phantom Menace joke.
I remember when first watching episode 5 thinking "my name is Cordelia, I was in 3 seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I'm used to seeing things like this." I love Dennis!
The scene with Dennis being put in the wall scared the shit out of me when I was a kid 😂 and the old lady ghost! Fuck that!
The writers must love the name Connor

Which is worse, peanut butter on the bed or gum on the dresser?
@@rfresa Wet towels left around are really bad.
Season 1 is a little wonky but when they get the group figured out it’s ah-mazing! ✌️✌️
Kate is gorgeous
Love to see my favourite Scully detective
Speed was partially written by Whedon, but he was never credited.
He was a script doctor and did an uncredited rewrite.
She is from Speed.

Agreed, the second half of the season is great.
The peanut butter on the bed? -- Angel and Buffy did that in I will always remember you.
Peanut butter is mystically immune to timey-wimey.
Which hasn't happened yet..

Has anyone connected Doyle actor to Roseanne yet?
Hello guys. The First Evil is what you thinking about. But this was just a ghost.
I’d let Cordelia live with me even if she’s messy
love the ghost roommate!
29:53 Spidey is wild! 😅
I was looking for this comment! Harrrrrd R
Only watching the crossovers till my queen joins the show, then is on. 😊
I know these reactions are older now, but suraj chris were right on the money
Pat's confused "what is this show" was *chefs kiss* lol
The "Phantom Dennis" joke is so 1999.
It is Rana, Bacala hes called
All about that sparkle motion !

laughing at Die Hard was hilarious
Really wish They would've kept Kate around as Liam's Love Interest
Did you seriously just call angel Liam?🤣 Do you also call 50 cent Curtis Jackson when you talk about him?💀
@ItsAme7143 I call Batman Bruce Wayne
Still can't get over that y'all didn't watch these in order w Buffy
They did. This was filmed a long time ago. They are now in season 5
Angel ia a great serie
Yea Doyle is from Ireland NOT England. Thats the joke. Nobody notices.
Oh Suraj has definitely peed on clothes and blamed the dog....
So Pat acts like a tough guy,... yet can be sent running by a cheap Halloween mask.

They should watch Gotham. They'll have a good time with that crazy series.

Please watck KING KONG (2005) & Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Franchise
❤
The sacrifice of always sunny for you all to jump on the Agatha bandwagon makes me furious as a marvel fan and an always sunny. lol
🤷🏾♂️
Is that why no Sunny??
@ lol no idea
❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍

Is everyone just pretending that Suraj hasn’t seen Buffy and Angel before? He’s seen both series multiple times.
🧢
doyle is WAY better than zander
